How to unlock the Folk Wisdom achievement in Generation Zero - Definitive Guide

You will get this naturally playing the game. You will for sure get it on the first island you start on. Whenever you enter any house make sure you go to the MASTER BEDROOM (not found in kids rooms or small bedrooms) and on each side of the bed on the wall is a plaque or picture that you move your targeting recticle over and that will translate the saying to English for you at the bottom of your screen, Just find 10 different ones and it will pop. I think these are randomly generated in the game so giving you 10 locations to go to would be useless. Think I got this in my 1st hour playing.

Not always in the Master Bedroom only. I've also found these on a lot of landing areas at the top of House stairs. Just be aware and keep an eye out.

I've found and read over 20 of these but some of them did repeat.

Update:
Finally, the last saying I needed was "DON'T THROW IN THE TOWEL" found in a hallway.

So I guess the plaques can be found in other rooms, I got mine just checking the Master Bedroom in all the houses but feel free to check other rooms as well. Thanks for the updates guys.

I found way more than 10 of these and it hasn’t unlocked.

You have to find 10 UNIQUE saying in the houses I probably looked at more than 25 before it popped for me. The sayings are randomly generated so cannot give you 10 locations to find 10 UNIQUE saying.

I have found more then 10 UNIQUE sayings and it hasn’t unlocked. VERY BUGGY

You can do this achievement in the very first city. In some houses there are several of them at once.
