MY BEST ADVICE FOR A USELESS WEAPON

The first weapon you will get at the start and the main machines you come across in the game are the dog machines early on. (you can get a slightly better hand-gun if after you exit that first house look right a you will see a small building with a car in front, jump onto the 45 gallon drums and then onto the fabric overhang an then onot the roof beside the body is a better hand gun and silencer to pick up). The gun is quite weak and takes a clip and half to bring down one of these dogs if you just land shots on them. Try going for their heads or the energy pack on their backs (at top) can be one shot kill SOMETIMES. with this gun. The other machines in the game are just too tough for the handgun to bring down so you will be getting your kills with the dog machines. Try targeting them from within buildings they will not go in them (usually) and it provides cover/protection from their gun fire. Dog machines travel in packs (4-8 usually) if you take them on in the open they will destroy you in 2 or 3 gun bursts or their charge attack and if you go for cover behind rocks and trees they will quickly circle around these to get to you. Your best bet is from within buildings TRUST ME. Once you get this achievement TOSS that gun it is useless against most everything in the game and will eat through bullets quickily, there a BETTER handguns later in the game
