Seekers are small, flying drone like enemies. I have only ever seen them after combat, they seem to scavenge the battlefield.
They are pretty easy to kill, a few shots will take them down. Luckily, this should come naturally, I was able to unlock this about 10 hours in, without purposely hunting for it.

Seekers (the circular flying machines) sound the alarm once they spot a player to call in reinforcements. If they scavenge a battlefield, I haven't seen that.
