How to unlock the Unorthodox Skiing achievement in Generation Zero - Definitive Guide

The Ski slope is located at Hammarbodarna (3308.883 -547.934) on Himfjäll Island. Go to the bike station and ride through the shack in front of you to start this side quest, track it so you can get the timer. You can pass through the red and blue slalom flags but you will crash if you hit the mesh fences. Hold down RT, head down the hill towards the finish and hope the game lets you go 40+ kpm. I stuck to the right hand side, I had 2 seconds to spare. Warning if you start the side quest "Last Resort" in this area, it will spawn a tank on the left side of the slope.

I made it right on the 00 mark and got the achievement but failed the quest

Do this on coop have 1 person on a bike near the finish line. Start the race and the other person goes through the finish line and bam. Cheevo!

Helps to be at close to full speed as you enter the starting hut. Keep to right side but as right veers away sharply keep straight until your close to left side fence. This way, your line is as straight as can be so making the distance as short as possible. Its a VERY tight timer. Did it with zero left on the clock. You can fast travel back to hut if you fail and retry as many times as you need HTH

As the old pantomime saying goes... 1, 2, 3...

"It's behind you"!

Secret to this is getting on a bike, that is spawned on the bike station just behind you.

Hop on, drive through the starting gate directly in front of the bike stand and head for the bottom. Note - you wont get knocked off by hitting the mesh boundaries you just bounce off, and the red and blue flags you go straight through, so just keep RT down.

If you find yourself 5-7 short of the required time, try restarting the game and your bike should be much faster hitting speeds of +40km/ph. For some reason the game can bug out and affect the bikes movement speed causing the bike to be much slower.

Fun fact , I tried to cycle back up and it turns out my character is as bad as I am at cycling up a hill !!!
