This achievement will come easily if you're looking to 100% the game. However, a great strategy is to use extra controllers, as it'll double, triple or quadruple your crystal income, depending on how many players you have.
To explain it simply: If you pick up 25 crystals in a game, then every player gets those 25 crystals. If you pick up 25 while playing solo, you get 25 crystals. If you pick up 25 while playing 4 players, you get 100.
If you have the controllers but not the players, I recommend killing off any player you aren't using, and just reviving them after you've beaten the bunny. You should be able to get 100 crystals in one run this way.
