Great Survival Master

Great Survival Master

Survive all alarms in the whole Nakamura space station.

How to unlock the Great Survival Master achievement in GHOST 1.0 - Definitive Guide

To unlock this achievement you must have succesfully passed all alarms on the space station at the same time in the survival mode. Note that In survival mode the alarms don't reset unless you die.

There are a total of
22 Alarms in the Blue Zone
8 Alarms in the Green Zone
7 Alarms in the Purple Zone

I was initially dreading this because I barely made it through the green stage's alarms by fighting everything but that was before I discovered how beneficial the hacking skills were. I would highly recommend that you wait to do this until the end of the game to begin getting the alarms that are out of your way (especially since some alarms are locked behind the gold keycard anyways). Now to my strategy.

To survive all the alarms you don't even need to do any fights thanks to a skill called "Alarm Fail' which is found in Jacker's third tier. (Also make sure you have his "Hello World" skill from Tier 1 so you can keep track of which alarms you've disabled already.) I would highly recommend that you dump all the points you can into Jacker anyways, since not only will it make the alarms much easier to handle but it will also decrease their duration. With the Alarm Fail skill there is a 20% chance of the alarm ending instantly. You will know it worked because no dialogue will trigger after the alarm alert happens and instead you will just get "alarm disabled" right after the "Alarm Level X" announcement.

What you will want to do is make a save immediately before triggering the alarm (via SAVE AND QUIT from the options menu) and then load back into the game and trigger the alarm. If the alarm was automatically disabled, collect your loot and move on. If it wasn't: hit options again and then quit WITHOUT SAVING. repeat this cycle until you've given up on the RNG (sometimes it might just be faster to fight through the waves if you're unlucky like I am, one time I reset 15 times and still didn't get an alarm to auto disable!) or until the alarm has been auto-disabled.
