How to unlock the Why not both achievement in Ghostrunner - Definitive Guide

Use the Blue upgrade for Tempest which refunds your focus when you kill 2 enemies, it's called Tempest: Multikill Refund, after the 2 enemies are killed switch to blink and take one more enemy out. The best level I found to do this achievement and many other achievements on was Level 15, you get to a point where 10 of those crawling enemies attack you, jump past and get the shooting stars, build up your focus and get the achievements, when restart the checkpoint, you can get the 4 achievements where you get 3 kills with each special ability

Worked great. Thank you. But I one thing I would suggest is once the level starts just dont move for 3 1/2 mins and let your ability charge. That way when you show up the the enemies you dont need to do anything. Just walk forward, hit them with tempest and then switch to blink. No need to kill to get it charged up and no need to try and jump past them. Just immediately get their attention and go for it.

You can also do it with dying. It counted for me. Use ability (make sure to kill at least one enemy), die quickly (abilities will reload immediately after respawning), swap it to any other ability, use it against someone (make sure he dies) - done.

As soon as you've unlocked your second ability, you can get this achievement trivially. Any time you reach a checkpoint with your power fully charged, kill the next enemy you see with Blink (as far as I know, Blink requires an enemy to trigger). Then pause the game and select "Restart from checkpoint." This will immediately respawn you with your powers charged, as it returns you to whatever state you were in at the last checkpoint. Since Tempest doesn't require an enemy present, you can just trigger it as soon as you spawn and be done.

If you need a specific spot, it's possible on the very first enemy in the game (after you've gone far enough to unlock Tempest). Level select "An Awakening," then sit there long enough for your power to charge. Get to that first enemy, kill him with Blink, reset to checkpoint, trigger Tempest. Bleep bloop.
