Simply press Right on your D-pad and the achievement will unlock. Not necessary to take picture to unlock

Photo mode can be accessed at any time by simply pressing pause (options button) and selecting photo mode.

Hit right on the D-Pad or Start and button down once for photo mode, the moment you launch it, the achievement will pop.

Pause the game, then select the Photo Mode from the pause menu. You don't even need to take an actual picture. Just going into Photo Mode is enough to unlock the achievement. There are loads of filters and poses to mess about with, though. It's fun. Why not take a snap?
