How to unlock the Boundless Spirit achievement in Ghostwire: Tokyo - Definitive Guide

Katashiro are items that you use to store spirits in before transferring them. The more katashiro you have, the more spirits you will be able to carry on you at once. The maximum number of katashiro you can acquire is 50. These can be bought at Convenience Stores for 3,000 meika each. You can get some as rewards from Relic-Hunting Nekomatas, but given you need spend 1,000,000 meika anyway it is simply easier to purchase them all.

You can purchase katashiros from the numerous Nekomata shops around the map. The maximum number is 50 so you will need in excess of 120k meika to get this trophy. You can acquire this amount of meika easily by just playing the game naturally from defeating enemies, destroying gold pots/cats or handing in "lost items" to the Nekomatas.

Little paper dolls used for absorbing spirits, you'll start with only one katashiro (retrieved from the Namita Shrine or Akisawa Shrine), before being given the chance to purchase more for 3,000 meika each from a nekomata shop (marked as shopping trolleys on the map). You'll need to own a total of 50 katashiro to unlock the achievement, which I did gradually by purchasing them in sets of five or ten, based on how much meika I had available during a store visit. Keep purchasing katashiro each time you visit a store, and you'll get to fifty in no time at all. Also, wearing the Prosperity Beads will double your meika income, so use those to boost your wallet.

There is no need to collect, you can buy at any store that sells consumables (arrows, amulets, etc.) you need to increase the capacity of the katashiro to 50 spirits.
