Synergy is your rank or level. 50 is required for the achievement and you max out at 55. You’ll get here without too much trouble especially if you’re collecting spirits.

For this trophy you need to reach the maximum level, which is 50.
Anything which gets you xp in the game helps towards this, but the fastest way to level up is by collecting the spirits floating around the map and transporting them through the pay phones. This means it is a good idea to try and get the maximum number of katashiro (50) early in the game so that you don’t have to run and find a phone every 10 minutes.

As mentioned in the Mind and Body (15G) achievement guide, increasing your Synergy Level requires collecting spirits and depositing them at a payphone. Complete missions, collect spirits using your katashiro, and transmit them through a phone booth, and you'll gradually level up. Once you've absorbed about 60-65% of the spirits in Tokyo, you'll have likely reached the maximum Synergy Level of 50. Done!
