How to unlock the Hero of Shibuya achievement in Ghostwire: Tokyo - Definitive Guide

I just wanted to help out the community and let you know that I did not need to collect 100% in every zone, after doing the DLC I had close to 120% on the overall map, but I was missing alot of zones still.

It unlocks when you beat the final boss. Note, that after you beat the game, you can still continue and complete anything that you missed. Technically nothing is missable.

Hints -
Grab the prayer beads that allow you to see spirits from up to 200m away
Hit the X button, and follow the blue "fly" to wherever it lands, repeat 1000x.

this is missable in that if you finish the story before getting 100% spirits in the city you will need to replay chapter 5&6 and kill the final Boss a second time to unlock this

The Mission The black tower where you take the Motorcycle to Tokyo Tower is the point of no return and after you finish the final boss and hit continue it will start you right back at the point right before you start The black tower.

Is chapter 6 the point of no return for this? I started chapter 5 today and I am about to start a mission and it's giving off point of no return vibes

You are good as long as you dont take the motorcycle to the tower. Like stated before, you can redo/replay anything so its not technically missable but you would have to beat the game again.

@Rum Geoff, and anybody else with this question, I can confirm that you can finish chapter 5, fast travel back to the main game area, then collect all the souls before going back and finishing chapter 6.

I did the exact same thing and the achievement popped.

Not sure how you did that. The end of chapter 5 goes right into chapter 6, and the map tab is gone.

Follow the instructions mentioned in the guide for the Salvation of All (30G) achievement, then complete the game. If you've already polished off the main story, don't despair. Continuing from a completed save will take you back to Chapter 4, prior to the endgame, so you can mop up anything you have left over, then complete the game again. It'll be even easier second time around, too, with all of your abilities maxed out.

It is advisable to collect it before riding a motorcycle (transition from chapter 4 to 5).
The spirits themselves:
- 3700 in the metro area;
- 10,000 locked in cubes;
- 15,000 are given after passing Haki Yako - a parade of spirits (a procession of enemies that is highlighted by thickening fog). There are no special conditions for the parade to appear. The main thing is to walk along wide and medium-sized (travelable) streets. Triggers once every 10/15 minutes. You will have to take part in 6-7 parades.
- the rest are located in Shibuya.
In total you will have to collect spirits about 2,500 times.

It became easier with the release of the DLC. Now the souls are more than 240k. You can finish off with souls from school or from quests. In the end, it was 100.14% complete (although no souls were collected in all of Tokyo).
As a result, not everyone attended the parades either

I advise you to accumulate 7 magatmas and 45 skill points from the start in order to unlock the skill of summoning Tengu (winged monsters that you are attracted to to get onto the roofs). It doesn’t always work correctly, but the ability to be attracted to almost any roof from any point greatly simplifies the collection of spirits.

While you’re saving up for a “personal” Tengu, don’t forget that stores always have “Ascension Talismans” on sale; for the first 15 hours of the game I only used them to get to the roofs.
Talismans are also useful in conjunction with Tengu to get to the highest houses in the game.

The trophy can be easily won in one playthrough in Chapter 4, without continuing after the main story. There are much more spirits on the map than 240 thousand, thanks to the new location in the DLC.
