How to unlock the Lead by Example achievement in Glacier Blast - Definitive Guide

Play "Feud" against the AI, and try to place one of your breakers on two or more bombs and a combination of two of the same "tile". In my case, I hit two bombs and two blank (but not empty...i.e., "white") squares.

I'm not positive, but I think that using bombs are necessary as there is no "round" bonus in the first round. As such there is no way you could get 150 points even if you hit 4 of the same tile-types. The key is to getting as many bonuses as possible, and bombs help with this.

Note: If you don't get the right layout on the board, or the right set of breakers at the start of the game, just back out and start a new match. Eventually you'll get something that works. It took me 3-4 attempts.

Edit: According to "soul in a jar" the bombs aren't necessary, just a more likely "first-move" scenario to occur.

Thanks Jar. Got it on the first try since I saw an enemy pattern than matched one of my breakers exactly. No bombs used. Thanks as well Boots.

Thanks, the key for me for getting this was hitting two bombs :)

I took out four of my opponents tiles, all the same (four ducks I think) and got this with 160 points. Your solution is more likely to happen though.

This achievement requires that you earn a score of 150 in the first round of a multiplayer match. This also may require some boosting. The easiest way to unlock this achievement is to break a Large Score Bonus Power Tile in combination with a high block multiplier. Use the boosting account to destroy the ice from the Large Score Tile and several nearby blocks. Then hit the same pattern and break the Bonus Tile and three other blocks (four blocks total) to give you all that score plus the 4x multiplier. An alternative solo method involves hitting 4 enemy unprotected colored blocks at the start of the game. This will require some luck to get your starting patterns to match the colored tiles of the board. When it does line up, each one is worth 10 points (40 total) and you will get a 4x multiplier, scoring you 160 points.
