How to unlock the Mermaid Goat achievement in Goat Simulator - Definitive Guide

I found this to be glitchy if I had any normal Goat Sim mods on (mods that existed in previous game such as double jump). What I found was that I had no inventory if any of these were turned on and even with taking them off I had to restart to get my inventory back. Would recommend doing this achievement on it's own if you find the same.

From the beginning head up the hill and down into the fields below and then into Gaotshire. To the right side of the town is the tavern, inside is a quest giver who will ask you to find Miranda the Mermaid. Head out of the tavern and follow the river to the waterfall to the right. Jump down and follow the left hand side until you find yourself on Glarblargle Beach.

From here carry there will be Miranda the Mermaid ahead and to the left. Lick her cn_X, then open your inventory up cn_RB, add her to it cn_LB and finally close it cn_RB.

Then all you have to do is head back to the tavern with Miranda in your inventory. Some guides say to remove her from your inventory but I didn't need to.

I also didn't have an inventory but this didn't matter. Find Miranda, lick her with cn_X, then press cn_LB to put her into your inventory. You do not need to open your inventory. Once done, go back to the tavern, walk into the yellow circle and pop!

Not sure why this guide has so many positive votes, you're complete shit at explaining things. With your "guide" I wandered around with my thumb up my ass for an hour because literally nothing made any sense or was where you said it was LOL.

Anyone know how to reset all the quest? It said i completed it and i even got the mutator for completing it, but i did not get the achievement and now i cant redo the quest because its already completed ingame

Perfect. Was wondering why there was no inventory. If you're following a guide, unequip all mutators and restart level. Make sure you don't reequip them until you have the achievement or inventory will go away again.

So i had mutators on from the original game so my inventory disappeared even though i licked the mirmaid. I restarted the level and went to talk to ariel again and the achievement popped. Not sure if it was glitched or not but if you had mutators on try and see if restarting and talking to ariel again works.

In Goatshire tavern there is a woman called Ariel Waterhouse. She will give you a quest about finding a mermaid called Miranda, which you can find in the beach. Once you find her add her to your inventory, go back to Ariel and remove Miranda from your inventory.

To unlock this achievement, it is easier to have the ‘Inventory’ mutator active.

You first need to “talk” to a person (Ariel) in Goatshire about a quest. This person is located in the inn/tavern in the center of the village. It is the building with the fruit vendor out front. Step into the yellow/orange square to listen to what they have to say. Ariel wants you to bring Miranda the Mermaid back to her. When she finishes talking, it will initiate the quest (you can leave before she finishes talking to get a head start).

From the tavern, walk north through Gold Fields until you come to a path. Take that path west until you cross two bridges. This area is known as Mermaid’s Tail. After you cross the second bridge, turn south and follow the path to Glarblargle Beach. Before you get to the beach, to the left is a lone mermaid standing around a yellow patch of sand (a geyser). This is Miranda the Mermaid.

You’re going to want to kill it, so headbutt it until it’s dead. Then lick it and press to place it inside your inventory chest. Press to confirm that it’s in there then again to exit. Then you need to return to the inn/tavern in Goatshire and when you walk into the green circle, the words “THE MERMAID - TRUE LOVE CONQUERS ALL” will appear on the screen, indicating that you’ve completed the quest which will unlock the achievement.

We take the quest in the village of Goatshire - in a bar. Then we go to Glarblargle Beach. There you need to find a "fish" with the name Miranda the Mermaid . She needs to be pulled in with to the bar or it’s easier to kill her... And then turn in the quest.
