How to unlock the Be not afreight achievement in Goat Simulator - Definitive Guide

Yellow targets=Freighters (Easy to shoot don't move very much)
Auto aim, you just need to be close enough and have your crosshairs close to them, then it should lock on.
I suggest slowing down as you get close as long as you're not getting shot.
You unlock the spaceship at $15,000.
Spaceship upgrade unlocks at $35,000 if you are struggling with this.
Shooting the freighters seems to spawn more Police ships so I destroyed the police ships while shooting freighters every now and then.
I shot about six or seven ships, in separate ships but in one sitting.
So doesn't matter if you die or get destroyed.
cn_RS controls all of your movement with inverted controls, it makes it very tricky.
cn_LS controls the goats left foot, click cn_LT to work each button. From left to right is brake/acceleration/boost/eject
cn_RT shoots
Hardest part of this is actual getting used to the controls.
Just bare with it you'll master them

Hard to explain, but the shooting seems to lock on at a certain point when you're close enough in your video; how do you do that?

This achievement was actully quite easy after I read your guide, took me like 10 minutes, as you said the only hard part is the controls. thumps up for a good guide

Don't bother with it, the game will blatantly cheat you every step of the way it won't allow you to aim at them spin you around when your not even using a controller

FWIW, cn_RS isn't purely inverted--it works like this:

Up + Down control your pitch (down + up) with inverted flight controls.
Left + Right control rotation (i.e., "roll"). Left for counter-clockwise, right for clockwise.

I used small movements, alternating roll and pitch to walk my aim in. Wasn't bad at all.

Not sure how many ships as i said i shot about 6 of them. Like Bu5hr4ng3r said if you can't find anymore and haven't got the achievement eject and jump in a fresh ship and you may find them.

I have done this around 9 times. Each time I shoot down 11 freighters. Still no achievement...

Its much more easier for me have constantly auto-fire on (in the game not on any apps). so i concentrate me just on t. fly-mechanics. Also it was more easy for me to finished the satellite quest before i jumped in the spaceship. After repair the satellite the earth is shooting down. also you can acitvate double shot, i think it was i activate double jump on my goat.

For some reasons i had sometimes i start the fly two cannons and two shooting aiming fields, its much more easier to have two cannons and double shoots and autofire.

And I thought the Flappy Goat achievement in this game was hard! Man.
It took me over an hour to get rid of all pirate ships, than another hour to get rid of the 30 police saucers.....
WOW! The controls for the space ship are HORRIBLE trolling. Whenever you are ready to take the shot, you tilt all over the place and you have to start all over again.
The only good part here is that you can die as much as you want, you can proceed shooting down ships....
Dunno if it's cumulative or not though........

There are about 10 ships. You can destroy more than one go. If you were shot down or something else happened, then take the ship again and finish off the remaining
