The Machine Gun costs 6000 coins and is the best (and most expensive) gun in the game. Coins are plentiful in this game though, so even after two runs (both failed), I was able to afford to buy the Machine Gun, which unlocks this achievement immediately. Worst case, you can do multiple failed runs and just amass enough coins to buy this gun.
