How to unlock the Elbow Bumper achievement in Going Under - Definitive Guide

There are these business cards that you can buy from rooms labeled with an @. After obtaining a blank business card (which does 50 damage), the killing blow has to be done to an enemy with the blank business card in order to obtain the business card of the enemy. During the Cubicle dungeon, the blank business card has to be found in a Cubicle box. I recommend playing the first room before any combats until a business card if found. Other than the business cards, the other two ways you complete the rolodex is by exhausting all dialogue with each shop keeper and the curse bringer (Hauntrepreneur). Notice that any business cards in italics can be found in part 2 of the campaign. A list of all business cards in order and how to unlock is as follows:

Fizzle

1) Jackie Fiasco - owned from beginning
2) Marv - given by Marv at the very beginning
3) Ray - complete all quests
4) Tappi - complete all quests
5) Fern - complete all quests
6) Kara - complete all quests
7) Elijah 'Swamp' Fiasco - complete all quests
8) Eclaire

50) The Hauntrepreneur - this is the guy that gives you curses in exchange for power-ups

Cubicle

51) Fulfiller
52) Buddy
53) Stocker
54) *Hungry Box* - Hardest card in game for me. Attack all boxes in part 2 of campaign until a hungry box appears and simply kill with a blank business card. This is just a very rare event. I have only encountered the hungry box in part 2 of the campaign or above imposter trial 5.
55) Vested Marv
56) Avie - can be earned in the office on floor 1000 by attacking Avie with a business card

Fizzle

57) The Imposter - Have to use the blank business card on the imposters second form

There are always two blank cards in the first room of Cubicle Tower, and then another in the room before Avie, with all the shopkeepers.

Hit everybody from a couple of steps away, not at point blank or the card can just go thru them.

29) Hover Hands, you have to hit the yellow blob Emoozi when it's vulnerable (mask-down) NOT the hands.

34) Mask Off Hover Hands, you have to hit the yellow blob Emoozi that has the eye patch when it's on it's smallest form after defeating the hands. DON'T hit the hands or the rest of the regular emoozi. You can hit him at full health since the small blobs are not strong at all.

54) Hungry Box, I found lots of them in all 3 (dark) dungeons after beating the game since I still needed to buy more skills. Just hit all the boxes in the rooms and maybe, one per run, will attack you back. And I think there's a really high chance to find one in the last room before fighting Avie in the 1000 floor, where the 3 sellers let you choose 1 ability before the fight.

55) Vested Marv, you have to kill him with a card from a few steps away, too close and it won't register, too far and he will probably dodge it. Once I think he also just blocked the card with his sword when I was trying to get him... the hardest one for me. If you miss exit back to the office and re-enter the elevator to start again since it's going to save after the fight. And there's 1, sometimes 2 blank cards at the very begging, in the room you come out of the elevator to the 999 floor, there's 2 pyramid of boxes on each side of the door, check there.

56) Avie. Once the conversation is over hit her from a couple of steps away or the card it's just gonna go over her. There's always 1 card in the room before entering the board of directors room, it's left of the door when looking at the 3 sellers. There's a Hungry Box at the boxes on the other side of the room. If you miss just go exit back to the office in the menu and re-enter the elevator it's going to put you in the 1000 floor.

My bad. I have updated the solution to include enemies must be hit by the blank business cards.

If I missed the Imposter the first time we met, is it too late to get it for the Rolodex??

You can get the Imposter during any of the Imposter runs, just get the last hit on the 2nd phase with the blank card. There are no missables in this game.

For the Hungry Box it's easier to do the first room of the Cubicle over and over. You will have access to 2 blank cards and no other enemies running around. Eventually you will encounter a Hungry Box and score an easy rolodex entry.

How do I get Mask Off Hover Hands? Like what part of him do I hit? The slime? One of the hands?

His head when on the ground, the slime, not the hands.

So after a while playing around - found there is a switch right next to the dungeon entrance that can be toggled on/off to play the 2 different dungeons in case you miss something in the first half.

For the Imposter, the first time you meet her at one of the dungeons make sure to finish her with a blank card for the Rolodex, easiest way.

For those people that only have the Hungry's Box business card left like I did:

On the cubicle Level (enter elevator) you get a checkpoint when you reach floor 1000, which is just before the Avie Boss and after you defeated Vested Marv. On this floor you spawn with Marv's sword in your inventory (which you can drop).

Just continue forward and enter through the door. Here you see three shopkeepers with items to choose from. Immediately to your left there will always be a blue striped box with a white card in it. Pick it up and destroy the other blue striped boxes with your fists to find a Hungry's Box. Didn't find one? Stay in this room and select "Return to Fizzle" from the start menu. Now go back to the elevator and you will spawn again on floor 1000 and can repeat the process until you find the Hungry's Box.

I did this around 10 times before I found the Hungry's Box and finally got his business card.

The impostor only has one form when you fight her for the first time, so don’t be like me and kill that form expecting a spider… sigh

If anyone is having trouble with Vested Marv on Floor 999:

Vested Marv has one attack where he stops and telepathically throws items at you. This is a perfect time to hit him with a blank card.

Make sure he's on his second form - after doing about 75% damage there will be a short cut scene where Marv extends his blade and summons two flying Stockers. Kill the Stockers (so that they don't accidentally damage Marv or you) and make sure Marv is on low health. Wait until he enters his stationary object-throwing attack, focus on him and throw the card.

If you are successful, you'll enter a short dialogue with him, but the Networked card will be where you hit him with it.

If you miss or if he gets killed some other way, quit the game during Vested Marv's defeat dialogue (i.e. quit entirely back to the console screen) so that the game doesn't save and take you to Floor 1000. If that happens you'll have to defeat Avie before you can access Floor 999 again.

The above guide by Liebers87 really helped me a bunch in finding what I needed. Just wanted to add a couple of tips that I learned along the way that might be helpful to others.

Overall Technique - I found that focusing on the enemy and hitting X was the best way to get hits on the enemies to network them. Try not to have any power ups equipped that damage enemies while focusing on them or else they could die before you can throw the business card.

Slowing Enemies - Also, having items that slow or freeze enemies can be helpful if they keep jumping or pouncing out of your aim at the last second. I found the Flashmob app to be helpful as I could use the camera flash to temporarily freeze an enemy and then hit them with the card. There is another skill that lets you enter a room disguised. This may help in identifying an enemy before it attacks and gaining a 1-hit kill/network with the card if they are a weaker enemy.

Avie - You can actually just hit Avie on the desk in Cubicle after your fight with Vested Marv. You don't have to wait until the big final battle.

Mask Off Hover Hands - This is the boss of the part 2 version of The Winkydink dungeon. The fight has multiple phases and I learned the hard way, what doesn't count to hit with your business card. In the first phase, you fight his hands. Killing either of these with the card doesn't work. In the second phase, you fight the big slime behind the DJ booth. Killing him doesn't count either. Once you kill this slime, he breaks off into 3 smaller slimes. You have to get you final hit with the business card on the last remaining slime to network the overall boss. Be careful not to accidentally kill all of them initially. I ran around to separate them and killed them individually until there was only one left to kill. Having the dodge roll that slows enemies down helps a lot in not having them jump away at the last minute.

I tried following your suggestion of hitting Avie with the blank card right after defeating Vested Marv (she's up the elevator and down the hall), but the card went right into the desk beneath her rather than hitting her. So this didn't work for me. :-(

The aim can be a bit finicky if I remember correctly. I had better luck trying it this way than during the actual battle. YMMV

Thank you for the Avie tip. Got it easily after talking to the cube, running through the cut-scene, then picking up and throwing it on the floor before launching the card +1
