How to unlock the Should Use a Guide achievement in GoldenEye 007 - Definitive Guide

The ‘Mostly Harmless’ award is for dealing the least amount of damage in a match.

You’re only able to get a few awards per match, so there’s a small chance you may receive other ones instead.

I recommend the ‘You only live twice’ game mode as each player has only two lives and each game will be very short.

Have your opponent or second controller kill you twice. If you don’t get the award, rinse and repeat. You should get it after at least a few tries.

EDIT: You can just start any multiplayer game and quit out of it as soon as the match begins. Credit to Anima Pura & CognitiveCaveat for discovering this.

You can view which awards you have achieved in the after-action report which will appear when the match is finished.

I used the cloud through my phone with only one controller and got it no problem

Took me three tries, but I hit the 2nd controller once to cause some damage so maybe you need to do that first.

I got it simply by quitting as soon as the match started, as I was going for other MP achievements, you might want to add it to the solution.

I got this on iCloud on my Android tablet by starting a new multiplayer game with the standard settings with one controller and then quitting out. I did it five times to get the Multi-streak achievement as well.

I also confirmed that you can earn this by immediately quiting after a match starts, and that you don't need a second controller either.

FYI you can see your awards by moving left 3 times on the Game Over screen upon exiting the match.

I was about to mention this. You can quit out asap and still obtain the MP achievements. Do this while you can because patch is most likely happening

P1 play as Natalya P2 as bond, quit out as P2 quickly, It wasnt popping when I was odd job as he starts with the hat just a heads up

It doesn't unlock for me by just quitting after a match starts. You might need a second controller for this one in order to deal some damage with player 2, and THEN quit.

I had a 2nd controller kill myself once and then I quit on my main controller.

Took a few goes - it appears while my match was contributing to other achievements it would not unlock this. Patience, keep restarting the match and it will come :)

I can confirm you don’t need a second controller or have to shoot anyone. Just start a 2 player match and quit and if you don’t get it just repeat that process until you do. Took me only 2 tries.

Yes you can unlock with only one controller but if you start a match with two controller, quit with the second and the first will earn it !

Had to kill myself once and then let P2 kill me and quit with controller/P2 and it unlocked, had the Mostly Harmless award in post match report. Had tried many ways mentioned above before this worked.

When I quit out of a match, I don't get to see the after match screen… it jumps right back to the setup menu 🤔

It works. I started a multiplayer game with 2 players locally and then ran around for 2 seconds with P1 and then start, exit game and then 3 seconds later popped.

Looks like you could get any number of awards but you need the mostly harmless one. You want get all the awards in a match, so you're rolling some dice here I think.

I made a game, killed myself and quit. I got the achievement 1st try like this, only used 1 controller. Thumbs UP.

For those who have trouble,set up a game,set your characters health below the other characters,set to lowest amount,wait a few seconds,can quit the game and the achievement will be triggered 100%

I only used 1 controller and it popped, BUT I did have to move around just a little to get it. First try I just loaded a game then quit. That didn't work. So I tried again moving around for just a few seconds then quit. Then it popped.

If your using a second controller, have the second controller quit out at the start of the match. Before quitting go all the way to left on the game over screen, for P1(you) and you see what awards you got. Can only get two per match, so its some luck. Got it after a few tries but didnt move fro spawn on either controller.

Multiplayer awards are given out somewhat randomly, but as you might expect, this award is for doing little or no damage compared to everyone else in the multiplayer match.

The easiest way to get this award/achievement is to start up a multiplayer match, any map, number of players, and settings, and then immediately quit out. For some reason, at least for me, the game never showed my awards, only the other players, but after quitting out of a few matches doing no damage, you should unlock this achievement.
