How to unlock the Behind the Scenes achievement in Gone Home: Console Edition - Definitive Guide

There are A LOT of commentary nodes scattered around the home. For the easiest time, start a new game then go into modifiers and select:
- All Lights Start On
- Unlock All Doors
- Enable Commentary

You will need to trigger all of the commentary nodes at least once. Interacting with a node will cause it to start and it will immediately count indicated by the "light" going out in the node.

There are a lot of very well hidden nodes, so I recommend that you follow along with this video to make sure that you don't miss any:

If you do miss some and want to take a break, you can "finish" the game and then select "Resume" from the main menu at any time to continue and not lose progress.

I did this with 0.75 video speed so I could follow the video perfectly without pausing it every time.

Just did it, but it took 3-4 hours after the fact for the acheivement to actually pop. I went through the whole process 3-4 times before giving up. Maybe Xbox live had issues, but all the other acheivement popped right away. May want to make a note of it so people don't worry.

Quick work! I got it with just hitting space a couple times to pause the video and mostly listening while I was watching my game, so thanks for going through the effort to put the voice track to the video as it helped me a lot.

I decided to try to do it on my own and got 98 last night, lol. Thanks to Maka, I picked up the other two (panel on the left side of house, dad's file cabinet) within a minute or so this morning. Perfect guide.

If you miss one for whatever reason after you open the final book, you can just click 'resume game' afterwards and it will put you back at the book. I missed one a few rooms earlier and was able to pick up achievement when collecting it.

Did all of them no achievment though hmm did it two times now in the excact same order..still nothing..

Edit: and now 3 times...won't pop. There are 68 nodes and I got all of them 3 times =/

deleted an reinstalled the game,nothing then opened the hub manager and it finally popped..wierd.

I know it's kinda reinventing the wheel, but I made a 100%-in-a-single video for those that prefer that sort of thing. Maka's solution is perfectly fine, but for those that wanna follow along with a single video and 1k the game, here's my version below. Of course as he mentions, for Behind the Scenes you want to turn the all lights on, all doors unlocked, and dev commentary modifiers on.

This may be the best video guide I've ever seen. To have the map with all the spots marked out, along with real-time video walking through them? A) That must have been a nightmare to produce, B) It was totally worth it as it's amazing, C) Where was this technology when I was hunting down the last, well, everything in Crackdown, and D) The bar has been raised and I want to see this tech in every video guide ever from now on. Bravo.

Hey all, just a video on how to unlock the achievement Behind the Scenes. For this achievement, you need to click all of the commentary nodes with the commentary modifier turned on. You need to beat the game once to unlock modifiers, and then start a new game with it on to see them at all. These nodes are everywhere, out in the open, in dressers, in a box, ect. Just follow the video for unlocking them all, and hope it helps!

If you don't want to use the video, the best method is to go around the house in a organized manner, room by room, clearing out every node you come across ending of in the attic.
