How to unlock the Not The Living Dummy's Night achievement in Goosebumps: The Game - Definitive Guide

This is a story-related achievement, and I don't believe this can be missed. If you die, by selecting "Run" instead of "Fight Back", you may want to quit and reload your file, just in case a retry voids the achievement (it voided "It Came from Beneath the Sink!" for me).

Once you gain entry to the bookstore (see "Are You Terrified Yet?" for more info)

• Select dialogue "Give Name"
• Select dialogue "Finish His Thought"
• Select dialogue "Bluff"
• Select dialogue "Really"

Some dialogue will follow your selection of "Fight Back", then the achievement is yours once Slappy is back in the book.

Your goal when you enter the mall is to find RL Stine's phone number and call it. Once you've done that, go to the candy shop and solve the candy weighing puzzle to get access to the bookshop. Confront Slappy with the following conversation choices:

Don't Give Name / Stammer it Out / Sincere / Whatever / Challenge (Slappy's Nightmare unlocked) / Scrutinize / Shrug / Made You Look / Fight Back

There may be other ways to accomplish this, but some of the conversation choices/paths will cause him to kill you.

Before talking to the final boss, call the author of all that nonsense (see the achievement It Came From Ohio ), then in the conversation, through trial and error, you will find the correct combination of answers and be sure to win. Nothing complicated.
