Grand Theft Auto 3

This trophy will unlikely come naturally as you progress through the game. However, there are multiple ways in which you can reach the required number in a short period of time. Each of these methods are described below. You can track your progress towards the trophy by pressing  and navigating to Stats > Cars exploded.

Method 1:

Acquire the tank from Phil’s Armoury in Staunton Island (or by using cheats to immediately spawn a tank) and continually drive around squashing every car you come across. This will increase your wanted level quite quickly. This actually helps the situation as cop cars and FBI vehicles will drive straight into you, blowing themselves up. Just be sure not to get arrested and periodically return to your safehouse to save your game as this will in turn save your progress towards the trophy.

Method 2:

Acquire a fire truck and start the Fire Truck missions by pressing . Once the first blip appears on the minimap, press  again to end the mission. This will cause the car to explode. Simply repeat this process until you have earned the desired number of car explosions.

Method 3:

Exploding car cheat. This cheat causes all cars in close proximity to explode. Just keep spamming the cheat until the trophy unlocks. Even exploded cars around you will continue to explode each time you enter the cheat, so you don’t need to keep searching for new cars. This is by far the quickest method and the use of this cheat will not impact your progression towards any trophies, and will not lock you out of obtaining any trophies.
