How to unlock the Wheels Up achievement in Grand Theft Auto 3 - Definitive Guide

Unique jumps are jumps which require you to launch off a ramp or inclined surface and then successfully land on the ground without crashing. You usually need to be travelling at a high speed in order to jump a certain distance for the jump to be counted as being successful. Each jump has a predefined starting point and there is usually plenty of room for a runup to gain enough speed.

There are a total of 20 unique jumps in the game, spread over the three islands / area, which you must successfully complete to unlock this trophy as well for obtaining 100% completion. There are 8 in Portland, 4 in Staunton Island and 8 in Shoreside Vale. Please refer to the 100% in game completion supplementary guide for a full screenshot, text and video walkthrough. The guide can be found HERE. The total number of completed unique jumps can be tracked by pressing  and navigating to Stats > Unique jumps completed.

Jump No. 9 (on the map indicated in the tip above) should be completed before completing the mission "Multistorey Mayhem". The last checkpoint in this car mission will be the 9th jump. And sometimes you can catch a glitch in which the jump will not be counted in the statistics, but you can’t get it again either

Perhaps it’s just me who has a glitch, but jump No. 5 in Portland (with acceleration along the pier and jumping to warehouses) did not work for me on Banshee - for some reason I didn’t have enough traction to fly to warehouse 2. I left it for later, and after opening the second island, I took Infernus, drove it along the pier and jumped - it calmly flew to the second warehouse and the jump counted.
