@TVthePunisher - Same for me, I just keep scorin with the chick instead of goin into a group dance, no mention in this vid guide :(

If you only partially get all the dance beats right, you go into the cutscene with bathroom hot coffee or kissing. Basically, a perfect means nothing will happen, you will go straight into the dance group, and then achievement! So just keep trying without skipping, this is the one time in your life you HAVE to be perfect, lol.

Don't watch the screen during the first part of the dance. Instead turn your television up and flick the thumbsticks up to the beat of the music. Then during the countdown just hold the sticks and click both triggers to the beat. It's actually pretty easy if you focus only on the beat.

The second part is just a sequence of quick time events. Watch the screen closely during this part or you'll mess up.

No one ever mentions the small subtle movement of the speaker on the bottom, it goes left and right, and it's quite hard to miss if you're only paying attention to the dancing. Ignore it, and focus on the speaker. Use the control sticks to each movement (left stick for left and vice versa) Some rumbling is okay, as I still got the dance with it. Just make sure it isn't rumbling a lot.

I time my presses exactly with the speakers movement and it still considers it wrong. I've tried alternating LT and RT with much worse results so I can only assume you must press them together. Even with that the game doesn't register my presses at the right time. I've done this solely to the speakers movement as well as trying to the auditory cues only.. half the fucking songs beats don't even match the speakers though so I don't know how that fucking helps..

Also no one seems to have said whether the Catch the Bus dance will begin as soon as you dance perfectly or if you have to fill the circle first. Do I have to dance perfectly during all holds until the circle is full, or just during 1 hold?

Don't worry about what song plays. I did this on mute, looking at the little speaker pulse. Move LS and RS left and right, together, then "hold" LS RS in whatever direction. While "holding" press RT LT together, at the same time as the speaker pulse. Then easy sequence starts. And ur done.

This was actually really fun. I found myself dancing to the music.

But it's also misleading. It says perfect, but I botched one bus move and got it.

I think you just need to activate the Bus, then complete it for the win.

I cant get this achievement to save my life. Ive looked at various videos etc but i must have attempted the hercules part about over 300 times now. With no luck. By far the toughest gta4 achievement.

Big thanks to InfinitMatrix about hitting up on either stick rather than just directions on a single stick. Finished the achievement using that trick at Hercules.

I had about 20 attempts at the Hercules club. Using InfinitMatrix method i did both clubs one after the other.

InfinitMatrix did not work for me. I found flicking both thumbsticks back and forth, holding whichever one I was on at the time and then mashing back and forth on L and R did the trick.

Iam really struggling with this everytime I get the kiss and never the big dance sequence. Idk what in doing wrong. ( Playing on the series X ) also tried switching to the one S to see if it was a frame rate issue but still no luck :(

I was finally able to unlock this by alternating L on L-stick and R on R-stick, then holding in either direction. Just have a good cadence to hitting the buttons.

As others mentioned, if you get the bathroom scene, you screwed up.

I was struggling but after a couple of realisations I hit it:

1. My left stick has a slight drift upwards and it was sabotaging me. I alternated left and right on the left stick and it helped.
2. Listening to the music and pushing in time to it was too slow. I had to ignore the music and push in time to the visual throbber.

Its all about technique, i was struggling for ages, but all you need to do is flick the analog stick up cn_LSu or cn_RSu when the speaker beats and hold when it says hold, make sure to tap the cn_LT and cn_RT buttons together in time with the music. Do this correctly and you don't even have to do the first dance off. I got straight to the end section after about 30/45 seconds of dancing!

Yeah Blue Papyrus I think you may be imagining that. The speaker does not move one direction or the other only pulses. I can not get this achievement for the life of me. Not a single fucking solution says whether you need to alternate LT and RT or do them at the same time. It's fucking annoying to go through all the solutions for both versions of this game and multiple different websites to find no clear consensus. I HATE this achievement.

This isn't too hard to do, just watch the beat of the speaker move and push left and right when that moves. If you are feeling vibrations that is bad. When it says to hold, pick left or right and hold it there and push the left and right triggers one at a time to the beat of the speaker. Once the meter fills up you will unlock your chance to do the bus. Follow the directions, you can mess up a little bit, but again, vibrations are bad so try to do the directions correctly and do them quickly.

Your solution is very good i use only the left stick and no the right stick after read you solution i got it

The easiest method I have found and works for me is:

When the speaker first pulsates move the left stick left cn_LSl and for the second beat move the left stick right cn_LSr, etc ... While doing this, if you noticed the meter did not increase or if your controller vibrates, it means you are doing something wrong - Try to alternate your stick direction, eg instead of left-right-left, try left-right-right.

Keep following this pattern until it says HOLD. Stay and hold your left stick either to the left or right. A second or two later, you will see greyed out symbols that will say 'RT' or 'LT'. Alternate the left trigger cn_LT and right trigger cn_RT with the beat. Hit these triggers one after the other in time to the beat for a massive bonus. Do this successfully; and the whole dance sequence will be reduced massively.

Eventually the girl will dance with you, keep doing this and it should pop up.
