This achievement is similar to but you only have to get 80%.

After each mission, you will get a list of goals, involving time, headshots, damage, etc. When you complete the mission, you start off with 50%, and then the remaining 50 is split roughly equally between the goals.

A couple of goals are easy to get round, as long as you avoid the time goal. To get round the player damage stat, just pick up a health pack towards the end of the mission or go to a fast food place, and make use of cover during the mission. For car damage, just visit a Pay 'n' Spray at the end. Also, if you use a taxi or cheat, the mission will not count as completed, and you will get 0% and have to replay it in its entirety.

I’d suggest getting the goals I haven't striked-through, as these are the ones I found easiest, and the striked-through ones will probably need multiple playthroughs to complete. The accuracy gets harder the further on you get in the game, but as long as you are careful, and use the pistol, you should be fine. The reason I say don't try the time is because it usually takes a couple of playthroughs to get used to the mission, and so you know what to do.

You don't have any enemies, so it is difficult to cause yourself any damage. Just drive carefully and you'll be fine.

Practice Swing

100% Golf Accuracy: You have to hit the union worker in one every time, so wait for the cart to be stationary, and zoom in before you hit your shots
This for these, just aim for the head most of the time and count your headshots. Also, don't shoot the enemies when they're behind cover or you’ll lose accuracy.

Chinese Takeout

100% Headshots: Use the pistol, and don't shoot when the enemy is behind cover
For this one, if you use cover and aim well, then you should be fine. Don't shoot when they're behind cover, and always aim for the head to get those goals.

Momma's Boy
Time: 3:10
Player Damage: 10%
Crowd Helped: Back an opponent against the cage side and get the crowd to hold him, then punch him
Counter Finish: Hold A to block, and then follow with X or Y to knock out an opponent when they’re low on health
This is difficult to get in one go as you have to get under 50% health to complete it in the regular way. What you have to do is to knock out your third opponent, and Santos will pull a knife on you outside. Since you have probably been hit, you will want to get a health before killing him. The closest can be found in the projects to the north (they look like three crosses on the map). There's a trench running around the eastern one, and in the north-western corner is a health pack. Pick this up and then shoot Santos. (credit to Octobot Super for the info on the health pack location)

As long as you stay far enough away, you shouldn't be hit by any stray bullets while in the helicopter. You've got to destroy the patrol boat as well as the three that escape the ship to get the Boats Destroyed goal.

Kibbutz Number One
Time: 5:00
Player Damage: 50%
Headshots: 10
Accuracy: 70%
Boat Damage: 60%
Top Boat Speed: 70mph
Quickdraw the RPG: You have to kill the guy with the RPG before he fires; may take a few attempts, he's high up in the building to the left
Aim for the head in most circumstances, and on the boat, hold down RT for the speed, and try to destroy the other boats as much as quickly as possible.

Bang Bang
Time: 5:00
Player Damage: 50%
No Bombs Wasted: Throw the bombs where you are told, and no-more than you're told to throw
For the bomb on the train, you've got to move fast; head north from the crane immediately, and when you get there, throw the sticky bomb at the train, from the road. Don't try to get on the track because it'll get away, and it’s quite difficult to get off.

For this one, you just have to move fast and be careful when you drive. Also be quick when you're on the computer and leave immediately, so don’t spend time randomly surfing the net, just hit LB several times to quit the computer and walk out.

High Dive

Helicopters Destroyed: 4
Freefall Time: For this, you have to pull your parachute fairly close to the ground, aim roughly for the roofs of buildings as you're going down
Use cover, and try to take out people on levels above you by aiming for the head. Destroying the helicopters makes it hard to get accuracy, so try another playthrough. There are four helicopters on the way up, so just fire 5 explosive shots into each one.

Caught With Your Pants Down
Time: 7:25
Player Damage: 50%
Tank Damage: 50%
Cop Cars Destroyed: 6
Sharpshooter: You just have to hit the targets without reloading, so in under ten shots
Player damage is easy to get because it's virtually impossible to get hurt unless you get out. The tank usually get badly damaged when you drive into cop cars, so keeping it under 50% is quite difficult.

This Ain't Checkers
Time: 7:35
Player Damage: 0%
Landed in Boat: Land on the boat when you're parachuting. People have had trouble with this. Always try to get to the one furthest away from you you as this seems to most likely for you to get the requirement. (credit to CuteAzz for confirming this for me)
Always First: Get to first place as soon as possible when parachuting, and remain there for the rest of the race

No. 3
Time: 5:15
Car Damage: 20%
Top Speed: 140mph
Followed Close: When you get in your car, stay as close behind Mori as possible while driving
When you're driving, keep control and don't hit stuff, and where there's a straight, just hold down RT to get the top speed, and stay close to Mori.

Frosting on the Cake
Time: 5:45
Player Damage: 50%
Bomb Accuracy: For this, as far as I can tell, you need to throw the bombs at enemies, not randomly
Escape Cops Time: 0:35
For escaping the cops, you want to drive straight through the roadblock, and just hope that you're not followed, and just continue down that road. You may also need a health pack at the end, and possibly multiple playthroughs.

Boulevard Baby
Time: 3:10
Player Damage: 40%
Groove On: Dance perfectly with Monique
Good Guy: Only shoot enemies with guns, not civilians in the club
Move the sticks in time with the music when dancing, and just hit everyone with a gun and avoid civilians during the shootout, and make use of cover.

When you jump out, push forward on LS and catch the blogger quickly, but don't overshoot him. Also, when you land, pull back to land safely.

There aren't many people to kill, so player damage is easy to get round. Helicopter damage is also quite easy as you can take out the enemy choppers from a distance, just spam missiles at them.

Ladies' Night

Close Pursuit: Stay close to the car
Low Fly: Stay low, roughly the height of the rooftops
These are all quite easy, as long as you don't fly like an idiot, and keep up with the car.

Going Deep
Time: 6:30
Player Damage: 50%
Headshots: 20
Accuracy: 70%
Vehicles Destroyed: 5
Bomb Hidden: It needs to be hidden out of sight, I put it on the front radiator
Sticky Bomb Carnage: Kill NOOSE and FIB agents gathered around the car
You want to put the bomb out of sight, and blow it as late as possible. Aim for the head, and use cover.

Dropping In
Time: 6:40
Player Damage: 40%
Accuracy: 70%
Perfect Landing: Land in the indicated area when you jump out of the helicopter
Ashvilli Plummet: Shoot Ashvilli when you've taken out everyone else, out of the window.
Truck Landing: Land on the truck after jumping out of the window
The reason I don't think Truck Landing is easy is because it depends on when you pull your chute, and you'll miss a lot of the time. Follow all the old rules - take cover, aim for the head.

In the Crosshairs
Time: 4:30
Player Damage: 40%
Headshots: 10
Accuracy: 60%
4 shots, 4 snipers: Don't waste any bullets, use one on each sniper
Use cover, take out the snipers with headshots, and use the sniper for some of the other kills.

For the Man Who Has Everything
Time: 4:20
Player Damage: 50%
Duck Chopper: Duck when you're told to when the chopper comes low over the train
Helicopters Destroyed: 8
Shoot the helicopters when the appear so they don't hit you much, and you destroy enough

Ladies Half Price
Time: 3:55
Hanger On Time: 0:07
This one is quite easy to get the time because you don't have to do much. To take out the guy on the back of the boat, simply reverse over him and move on.

Party's Over
Time: 4:30
Player Damage: 90%
Headshots: 25
Accuracy: 70%

This one is quite difficult to get in one, since you're mainly concentrating on people not sneaking up on you. Therefore, you just need to try to be accurate, and use sticky bombs to take out the cars.

Departure Time

Headshots: 25
Accuracy: 70%
Same as most of the previous missions, use cover, and aim for the head, mainly using the pistol for increased accuracy.

Ok I just have to put this here because it would be tedius to comment to every solution already here.

FIRST OF ALL, READ ALL OF THE OTHER SOLUTIONS, AND WATCH THE VIDEOS.

This is not a full solution, but an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT note to remember when considering using ANY solution.

The mission, "Frosting on the Cake", where you drive a limo and then use sticky bombs out of the limo later, WILL NOT APPEAR ON YOUR STATS PAGE (in the "General" tab). If you skim your stats and see all 80+% or 100%, and you DID NOT unlock your achievement, it's because you need to improve your score for "Frosting on the Cake".

If you look in the "Player" tab, you WILL see the score for "Frosting on the Cake" in there.

DO NOT SOLELY RELY ON THE GENERAL STATS FOR THE GAME.

I went through two entire playthroughs and over a month of headache and no help from Rockstar support before realizing this.

If you did not get this achievement from your first playthrough then don't worry, you can access the missions (along with your current score for each mission) from the missions tab in your phone.

Each mission will have secondary objectives that contribute to the 100%. These will vary from times, accuracy, damage taken, headshots, items destroyed or incidentals. Some will be difficult to obtain on the same attempt but they do not need to be achieved on the same try, they are applied to future efforts also.

For accuracy and headshots, use the pistol as it is very powerful and accurate. Damage taken should not be a problem as you are given full health and armour (i think) at the start of each attempt.

To preview the objectives for each mission, go to the pause menu, go to the stats tab and view Player.

If you have to restart from a checkpoint you automatically score 0% on the mission even if you complete it (i think).

To get this achievement you will need to score 80% or above on all missions.

Hi there, the reason i am writing this solution is just giving you some tips and tricks about some missions that really pissed me off. (read every solution and comment before reading this, so it may confuse less.)

If you're stuck on having missions left with time limit and accuracy or headshots at the same time, don't do both together because the pressure is just too high to miss shots.

Pick a pistol or use the explosive Shotgun (code: 486-555-0100), also health and shield (code: 482-555-0100 or 362-555-0100) before you restart each mission for the maximum amount of headshots and accuracy.

The helicopters aren't really needed, but in case if you need to know it: it doesn't spawn every time, so you might have to restart the "Bang Bang" Mission a couple times before it shows up. (that's the only time i used it btw.)


Rocket Launchers aimed at vehicles gives you 0% accuracy. Had to learn that very painfully in the "Going Deep" Mission.

For the Mission "Momma's Boy" you have to win every round and after that you kill the guy who was betting against you. (which is suprisingly not canon.)

For the Quickdraw the RPG checkmark in "Kibbutz Number One" you need to activate auto aim and flick your RS into the direction where the RPG guy spawns after you killed enough people.


For the "Sexy Time" Mission, the Yacht has 4 Hitboxes, also using the button goes into first person perspective and it helps to see where your shots are going. you can hold and Button together while trying to low yourself right above the water for easier aim against the boats.


For the "No. 3" Mission (followed close checkmark), don't crash your car at all and hit the ramp before brucie lands on the boat. (you'll probably have to play this mission alot to know dangerous areas.)

For the "Caught With Your Pants Down" Mission, if you fail 14 shots for the Sharpshooter checkmark, then you can shoot the pilot in the head so you can restart the mission much faster.

If you got the Truck landing checkmark in "Dropping In" you don't have to land perfectly on it again, just fly into the ground and get in the truck.

You have to skip the Cutscenes in "For The Man Who Has Everything" to make it in time. (i skip every cutscene in this game which might also help.)

In the mission "In The Crosshairs" you can climb up the Chimney in the video at 0:51 like mentioned in the comments in the following video, just don't hold or tap , take your time since its easier to recreate the whole video.

Also if 4 Shots 4 Snipers doesn't work, getting arrested and retrying helps towards the checkmark.

Solution for TBoGT: Gold Star In Grand Theft Auto IV

In the Mission "Ladies Half Price" you have to hold to get rid of the guy holding on your boat quickly.

Also in the final Mission, you don't have to recreate the sniper shooting in the following video, but the flying parachute part was needed to make it legit under 10 Minutes, since it took me 30-40 seconds longer to finish the mission despite using shortcuts.


Hope those tips can help getting you a bit closer to the 80 and 100% achievements.
