You completed a 500 foot wheelie on a motorbike.

How to unlock the Wheelie Rider achievement in Grand Theft Auto IV - Definitive Guide

After you finish the task "Hating the Haters", you should have a scooter (named Faggio). Simply go to any long straight road or bridge, do a wheelie by pulling LS all the way down (towards you). After several seconds, this achievement should be unlocked.

Note 1: It's easy on scooter because it won't allow you to go over.
Note 2: You can do this on any long straight bridge by wheeling on the side of bridge. It's usually safe. No need to drive far to the airport
Note 3: If you want to unlock this achievement with "Walk Free" (losing 4 star wanted), simply go to the airport and do it on the runway.

First steal a Faggio. After that drive it to the airport. get on the run way and gain speed. Now lean back all the way and you won't crash because the end of your bike won't let you. CONGRATS! You just got 30g!

I like this video because it showed me that there was a bike sitting at the airport (finding a fast bike has been a problem for me). Now I don't if I'm going to find it there, but I am going to look.

It was there... But the heat was all over me for trying to grab it... I don't think an airport runway is the place to learn how to do wheelies!

DOES NOT work in multiplayer. Last night I wheelied almost 3/4 of the runway and didnt get it

Another way to get it is to get a scooter and do a wheelie down a highway or on a bridge, that's how I just got it :)

I got this achievement on the Lost and Damned DLC. Since Johnny Klebitz can handle a bike better than Niko, I decided to see if it would work with the DLC or HAD to be unlocked on the main game. I stole one of the faster motorbikes, not the choppers the Lost MC ride on, and I just went riding down the street, pulling back for the wheelie. I got it without a problem.

Ok everyone tells you to go to the airport. I, however got this achievement while on the long street in algonquin where your safe house is. Just watch out for traffic. Also there are no cops chasing you so you dont have to worry about that.

I found this easiest with a Sanchez. Just keep driving around stealing motor cycles till you find one then go on one of the biggest bridges gain speed and pull and hold down the left stick when your going fast enough then just make sure you stand in the middle of the 2 lanes so that no cars will hit you just becarful if they suddenly switch lanes also make sure you go 500ft and if you do this achievement unlocked.

I think got this achievement earlier than the other solutions. I was able to do it on the mission "No Love Lost" (given to you by Faustin). It was the first time I got a bike in the game.

You will get a bike to follow Faustin's daughter's biker boyfriend. After getting on the bike, make a right onto the long east-west rode and pop a wheely (just pick up speed and hold back on the L-stick). You can hold back on the joystick longer than you would think before crashing the bike.

Note: 500 ft seems longer in this game than it would be in real life. Also, you will probably have to redo this mission unless you are REALLY good.

I actually did this with a Sanchez, which I find a lot more stable than the meatier bikes in the game. When you have a sanchez, just go to any long expanse of straight road and wheelie. I personally used star junction approach, as you can just pick the separating line between the traffic and follow that along with very few problems.

Faggio at the airport FTW! Then see if you can escape the police on it after you pop the cheevo.

Faggios are pretty hard to find, but there's one west of the airport. People also swear that they spawn aplenty at Middle Park.

I got this by accident while doing the sixaxxis tutorial. During the tutorial, you will be riding a motorbike while controlling your movements with the controller. This tutorial happens to take place at Francis International Airport. The bike portion will take place on the runway which is really long. Just keep tilting the controller up until you reach the end of the runway. This is really the easiest way to do it as I did not fall off the bike the entire time.

Although it says here that you need to ride on the back wheel of a motorcycle, you can also ride on a scooter. Here is a plan of how and what to do:

1) - Finding a scooter or moped is the same thing, well, if you haven’t found it, find a motorcycle, it will be more difficult to get the achievement.

2)-Find a straight road without going up or down.

3) -Well, then just drive along the road, lifting the front wheel.

4)- :LS: pull towards you and hold
