The Inside Track Betting place is loacted here (under the bridge):

When you're inside, walk towards one of the ITB machines, press

, bet $5 (the minimum) on any of the horses, and hope that you win.
This game is luck based, so you'll just have to keep betting $5 until you eventually win.

Best bet is to bet on the same one even if the names changed. I chose blue and played 2 times and won.

You can bet on every horse in one race ,I did $5 on each and got the achievement

@anima Pura.. it definitely let's you place a 5$ bet on all of them (total bet 25$) but you "lose" at the end and don't get the achievement lol.

took me about 10 tries, but you can NOT bet on all horses at the same time, you can only select 1 horse and bet on it, and when you select another horse that bet is transfered

If you do this after the Doberman mission, you'll have an autosave just down the road from the betting shop so you can bet everything you have on the longest odds and just reload if you lose. I got $50k this way which is a decent amount this early in the game.

Thanks for the map! The achievement didn't initially pop for me. It was only after leaving and reentering the betting parlor that it unlocked.

Not sure if it will be the same for everyone but i will add this. When loading my save for the first time and entering the betting shop it was pretty much nailed on for the longest odds horse to win first time round.

I just went in there and placed a $5 bet. It took a few tried but it popped immediately after winning.

Just save before you go bet and you can bet $10000 without fear of losing it because you can just reload your save. Get's you an easy money boost very early in the game. You win more if you pick worse odds. I did it after the burglary missions to get the first 10k and just kept loading and retrying till I won. Went from $300 in my pocket before burglary mission to $130000 in no time. Later in the game you can combine that with the gambling skill trick (you'll have to look that up on YouTube) and you can get as many millions as you want easy at the casino in Las Venturas.

There are 2 Inside track betting shops in the game that I know of, however the one I am going to be referring to is the one in Downtown Los Santos shown in the image in another guide for this achievement.

Now, if you do it this way you will get both this achievement, and a whole load of money.

You can do this as early as you want, but I personally waited until I had about $160,000 in my pocket to spend (it took me a lot of missions to get that amount and I hardly spent anything other than to buy the airfield in Las Venturas.)
When you have the money needed, find the green house on the map in Los Santos for the area named Jefferson (it is next to Glen Park which is the area you had your gang territory fight training in and is also underneath the northern most clothing shop in LS) buy the house for $10,000 and save the game. Due to its close proximity to the betting shop it will be our little hub. Now go all the way to the betting shop and place all your remaining money on the Teal horse which is the 12/1 betting odds.
Watch the race, and if you win you will need to go back to the Jefferson house and save the game again, and repeat this as many times as you wish; if you lost, just reload your save that you made and try the same tactic again until you win as it is just luck whether you win or not. Due to the Definitive edition being a lot quicker, loading will not take too long and this tactic apparently shouldn't take any more than 4/5 reloads at most to get a win (I personally got 2 wins on the trot and it set me up with $23,000,000)

That is all folks, and it is how I got the achievement plus my millions in order to buy everything in the game.

Your method works, but the first time I bet the whole amount about 150k$ and after the third try I won 2 million, but then I tried for an hour to bet the whole amount about 2 million$ And I won about 25 million😂.

Good guide, definitely works as written. Only comment would be that it is TRULY luck based, so don't get upset about the solution if you don't win right away. My first win betting 145K took me probably 8 or 9 reloads, but then I saved and went back and immediately won the next one to get 20 million+. This was with no horseshoes collected, I imagine it would be quicker if you have opened up Las Venturas and collected those.
