How to unlock the Savior achievement in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Definitive Guide

The easiest way for me, was this:

After completing:
Grand Theft Auto: San AndreasSecret AchievementThe Secret Achievement achievement in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas worth 65 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement

You will unlock "San Fierro" and also you will respawn here, in Angel Pine:
External image

And in this exactly point, is the ambulance:
External image

External image

Is very very easy at this point, because you only have to be around in that small city, and believe me you will save around 30 minutes or even more.

Mission Failure
- The Ambulance Falls Into Water.
- The Ambulance Blows Up.
- The Ambulance Flips Onto It's Roof.
- You Kill A Passenger. (Running them over or crashing the Ambulance too much)
- You Are Arrested.
- You Exit The Vehicle.
- You Push cn_RS.
- Your Time Runs Out.

Completion
You will need to complete Level 12 of the Paramedic Missions in order to finish this Sub-Mission. Level 12 must be done consecutively, and altogether you will save 78 people, however this may increase in your stats if you fail or cancel the mission. The average time for completion of the Paramedic Missions ranges from about 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on location, however I'd advise Angel Pine if you can get there.

Rewards
-Upon completion of Level 12 your health bar will be increased to it's maximum, resulting in your health raising by double or more. This of course helps greatly on missions, or random gunfights with enemy gangs or the cops.
-And of course the achievement.

Also what I did, this is by far the easiest place to do it as all the passengers spawn in the small town, takes maybe 10-15 mins

i would like to add: there's a small town (Montgomery) just north of los Santos where you can use the same method if you don't want to wait for san fierro to unlock

Brilliant guide! I actually did it this way without looking for a guide, came here to post one but you'd already done it! The only thing is watch for traffic, it's a tight area and you often get big trucks appearing right in front of you.

My driving's pro, as I play a lot of racing simulators, so I finished this with nearly three minutes remaining.

best solution! made this a breeze really. This also works great for firefighter missions. Just drive the fire truck to this place and start. most of the victims spawn in this area or the surrounding freeways.

Some smartass (me) was on the way to pick THE last passenger in the heart of the first city, when I ran someone over and saw them fly really high into the sky, so I decided to look behind me, but of course I pressed the wrong button and ended up aborting the mission. GG 1 hour and 10 minutes....

Will make sure to use this guide tomorrow instead lol laugh

Couple of tips

Before you start, punch the rear and and right side doors of the ambulance until the doors come off, saves a second or two each time a patient gets in or out the ambulance.

When dropping off, brake with the handbrake (X button) don't do what I did, breaking with LT, patient gets out the back, I'm still holding brake, it starts reversing, patient is run over and killed before registering as rescued.

RS is an annoyance, having it be held for a moment would have been a better option.

I died near this place, woke up at that hospital and I remembered this guide, so I took the opportunity. :D Also good spawn point for the Sanchez bike for the A Legitimate Business achievement. So I just took the bike too. :D

The only thing I would add to make this even easier is to punch the doors off that the passengers get into before you start. This way you don't have to wait for them to open them, they just hop right in.

What a great solution. Not only is the recommended method easy and efficient, but it covers all of the requirements and provides some helpful hints to boot. Solutions like this are what TrueAchivements is all about. Unfortunately, I can't +1 because I mistakenly posted this comment as a solution, then deleted it, and now I can't vote. I suck.

I will add that I broke one of my back doors off by accident, and it did cut down on the time it took for the passengers to get in on that side.

Want to get this early after the first mission? No problem! Near your Grove Street safehouse, there's a hospital right nearby with a parked ambulance.

External image

You'll want to take it all the way up to Fern Ridge located below:

External image

Start the mission by clicking in cn_RS, and pick up the nearby passengers, making sure to slow your movement upon reaching them. Make sure there's enough space behind you for them to get into the back.

Paramedic is more about keeping cool under pressure than being a full-on drag race. You get plenty of time in the much later rounds making return trips less of a problem.

There are 12 rounds in total which must be completed in one sitting.
The average time to complete it in this area will take 35 minutes.
You cannot leave the ambulance or kill a passenger as these are fail states.

Completing them all will give you a permanent health boost, which is really useful this early, and more so later on! Here are some points you should keep in mind when you're making your way around.

* AI drivers will always come to a halt when you're picking up passengers, however you should be careful about your surroundings as it is possible for the passenger pathing to get caught in a mess if there's no way for them to get to your ambulance. Case in point, having a vehicle block your back doors.

* The ambulance is prone to tipping over if you spin out. Going over small hills and bumps is never a viable option even if you want to try taking detours/shortcuts. You should always follow the road and mind incoming cars to avoid potentially killing your passengers and damaging your ambulance. It can only take so much punishment until it catches fire.

* Try to keep your thumb away from the cn_RS to control the camera. Yes, it's a state of habit, but it can also potentially ruin the whole mission if you click it in. Take your corners carefully and let the camera swivel back to your rear.

* Plan your routes in advance. Check the map at the start of each round, look at where your passengers are spread out and keep your waypoint at turns. You don't always need to pick up 3 passengers. If there are 2 in one town, and four in another, get them in 3 groups of two. You'll learn pretty fast how crucial it is to get them back in even numbers.

* When driving up hills, it may be difficult to see vehicles in front of you. Always take it slow in this case as once again, time isn't an issue, and you'll more than likely collide with someone.

* Rain and stormy weather will impact your driving. This is something that occurs randomly during the in-game time, but this will make your trips slightly more tedious.

* Watch out for cops. Always.

Who neg voted this?

I'm positive voting it as soon as I start the game.

Great solution.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. =)
I think TA has its share of drive-by neg voters. It's also likely that someone else had the same idea in mind but was just late on delivering it.

If anyone else has suggestions, feel free to put them here and I'll add them.

Thanks, Xyronide! I'm glad it helped you out. As before, my speculation is that they're drive-by neg voters. If they genuinely had a problem with the solution itself, they would have mentioned so. There are people out there who are unfortunately jaded and just hate everything nowadays... but that's not really a topic to delve into here.

I'm open to criticism as I want to try and improve the guide if possible. If there's something you guys think is missing, or could be expanded on, just say so!

This is the way I did it back on the ps2. Its easier at the start, no gangs are trying to kill you yet and the extended health bar comes in handy if you have it early.

I think the other solution is surprisingly easier (although I haven't tried it), since it only has to be done in one town. This method is split into three small towns (which are close together), but can be done from the very start to give you the health boost and the achievement.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. As always, suggestions to improve this are appreciated.

When I went for 100% on the PS2, I went for all the vehicle related missions in the early parts for the very reason you mentioned, bar Vigilante as you won't have many resources. If gangs started trying to pull me out of a fire truck, they wouldn't have made it very far to "represent".

The countryside towns are always empty regardless of where you are in the game. Los Santos is the only real trouble area.

This is most easily done in Angel Pine due to the small town size. Kill someone or find the hospital and steal the ambulance, then complete the mission as normal. Should be relatively easy as long as you don't kill any of the patients. Completing this mission set will give you 150% health.

The most convenient place to get this trophy is the town of Angel Pine in the South-West of the map.
Firstly , the Hospital itself and the ambulance standing next to it are located right there.
Secondly , the people who need to be transported are located within the town, which is quite small in its components.
Thirdly , the patients are close enough to each other and are not located outside the city limits.
Receipt will take approximately 20-35 minutes.

That's right, Angel Pine has a first aid station and an ambulance in the backyard. The mission practically does not leave the territory of the town, so it’s a pleasure to work as a Paramedic here.
We seat one client to our right, two more - behind (driving up to them accordingly). The main thing here is not time (there is enough of it), but not to accidentally crush the client (this is fraught with failure of the mission and repeating everything all over again).

I did it at the very beginning. There is nothing extremely complicated. The main thing is not to hit the cops’ cars and at levels 8+ do competent logistics management. There is also a certain amount of luck involved. If you don't have a lot of time (3+ minutes), then the location of people in missions 11-12 will decide whether you pass or not. This happened to me in my first attempt, when on the 11th mission the dude spawned in the UNDERGROUND, damn, TRANSITION, where the station is. My car barely fit there, he couldn’t get in and the mission failed. With the second, everything was ok, although there were 1-2 people at all ends of the map.
