This achievement can only be obtained while playing as Michael and involves a very long process of tedious missions and monetary donations. To begin, pull up your in-game cellphone and access the internet. Type in "Epsilon" in the search bar, click on the first website that comes up, and complete the Epsilon Program Identity Evaluation on the homepage. As soon as you quit out of the internet, there should be a new Strangers and Freaks mission on your map in Raton Canyon. Approach the red truck there and watch the cutscene that ensues. Following this cutscene, Michael will receive an email informing him to donate $500 to the Epsilon website in order to unlock the next mission.

After making the donation and a few in-game days have passed, head to the next Epsilon icon on your map near the corner of Clinton Avenue and Alta Street in Downtown Vinewood. Complete this mission and you will need to donate another $5,000 through their website. During the next mission, you be required to deliver five vehicles to the Epsilon Garage in Vinewood Hills. You will be sent a photo of each vehicle to your cellphone in order to help track them down. If you have a lot of spare cash, access the internet on your cellphone and open the "Travel and Transport" menu. Go to the Southern San Andreas Super Autos website and buy the following vehicles:

  • Enus Super Diamond - $250,000
  • Pegassi Vacca - $240,000
  • Benefactor Surano - $99,000

These purchased cars will be sent directly to Michael's garage. If you do not have the cash for these three vehicles, all five can be found throughout the city of Los Santos (if you need further guidance, the video below shows these vehicle locations starting at 2:31):

  • The Pegassi Vacca can be found parked on Wild Oats Drive in front of a house in Vinewood Hills
  • The Benefactor Surano is sitting in a parking lot in the cul-de-sac of the Lake Vinewood Estates
  • The Declasse Tornado can be found in a parking lot at the "Domestic - Japanese - European" Garage in Hawick (2 blocks East of Ammu-Nation gun shop 2/9 on map legend)
  • The Enus Super Diamond is parked behind Leopold's on Dorset Drive in Rockford Hills (2 blocks South of Ponsonbys clothing store 1/3 on the map legend)
  • The Double-T Motorcycle is parked in one of the spaces next to the Lifeinvader offices on Boulevard Del Perro.

After delivering all five vehicles to the Epsilon Garage, you will need to complete another short mission. After this, you will need to make two different $5,000 donations to the website for the next mission to appear, which tasks you with buying the Epsilon Robes from their website for $25,000. You must now wear the robes for 10 straight days, so return to Michael's house and simply sleep for 10 days straight in order to speed this up. Once this task has been completed, you will receive a text from Jimmy Boston asking you to go Fort Zancudo; complete the next mission there. Following this, proceed to the next Epsilon icon when it appears on your map and make sure you are still wearing the Robes. Talk to the crew there and they will inform you that you need to wander 5 miles in the desert. Distance covered is tracked onscreen above your radar after every 0.1 mile.

As a general tip, try wrapping a rubber band around the controller's thumbsticks while walking in the desert. This will cause Michael to walk in a circle so that you do not have to sit there during the mission. Just be careful not to wonder outside the desert of the tracker will reset.

After completing this dreadful task, make sure you have $50,000 on hand and head over to the Epsilon Center in West Vinewood when the mission appears. Complete this final mission in any way you'd like (to obtain the Gold Medal for this mission, you'll want to drive to the drop off point, kill the helicopter crew, security guards and back up security, and then drive off with the money) and the achievement is finally yours!

[MISSABLE] This trophy is missable if you have not unlocked it by the time you get to the final mission. You must choose "Option C" when offered the choice, after which this trophy is no longer missable. An even more serious problem is that this trophy is [GLITCHED]. Many people are reporting an issue with Step 7 not progressing like it should as after stealing all the cars they never get the email to proceed to Step 8. For more detailed information see Step 7.5 below. Note: This issue was fixed with Patch 1.01.

This is a relatively complex trophy, you are required to complete numerous side-quests for the Epsilon Program. To begin with you need to be playing as Michael and have a total of $90,500 to earn this trophy, however, completing the final mission can net you as much as $2,100,000 so it is well worth the investment.

This mission will be detailed in small steps, if you wish to make use of the video then clicking the timestamp next to each step will take you to that specific step in the video.

Step 1 (0:05)

Open the internet browser of your in-game phone by pressing then go to the Epsilon website by typing in "epsilonprogram.com". Once there scroll down, click "Evaluate Your identity" and complete the evaluation. It doesn't matter which answers you pick, the end result is the same.

Step 2 (0:45)

A icon will show up in Raton Canyon after a while (about 12 in-game hours) so travel there.

Step 3 (1:09)

Approach the red truck and watch the cutscene, afterwards you will get an e-mail. Open the attached link by pressing and donate $500 to the Epsilon website.

Step 4 (1:39)

The Epsilon symbol () will appear on the map after around 12 in-game hours have elapsed. Go back to your safehouse and choose to sleep a few times and it should appear on your map. When it does, go there.

Step 5 (1:54)

After the cutscene you will get another e-mail, open the link and this time donate $5,000 to the Epsilon website.

Step 6 (2:12)

Go to the next (again, this will take a while until it shows up on your map).

Step 7.1 (2:31)

You will now need to collect 5 vehicles for the Epsilon Program. Luckily, they all have fixed spawns. Once you find a vehicle, take it to the symbol that appears and park it in the garage. The vehicles can be collected in any order you like but this order will follow the video.

The first vehicle is the Declasse Tornado which can be found here:

Step 7.2 (3:16)

The second vehicle is the Pegassi Vacca, found here:

Step 7.3 (3:36)

The third vehicle is the Benefactor Surano, found here:

Step 7.4 (3:57)

The fourth vehicle is the Enus Super Diamond, found here:

Step 7.5 (4:21)

Make sure you create a new save file before you pick up this vehicle!

This is where the trophy can glitch, as after you deliver it to the Epsilon garage there is a chance that you will never get the email which leads you to Step 8. If you deliver this vehicle and never get the email, reload your save and keep trying until you can progress [Fixed with Patch 1.01].

The fifth vehicle is the Dinka Double-T, found here:

Step 8 (4:58)

Travel to the next icon after waiting a short while.

Step 9 (5:18)

Complete the mission by searching for three items (a TV, a car battery and a shoe) with the extraterrestrial device provided. Hold to aim it and (if you are going in the right direction) the closer you get to the item the more the blue bars on the device will fill up, the beeping noise will become more rapid and your controller will vibrate quicker.

Step 10 (7:21)

Donate $10,000 to the Epsilon website (two donations of $5,000).

Step 11 (7:40)

Go to the next symbol after sleeping a few times.

Step 12 (7:57)

After the cutscene you will get another email. Open the attached link with and buy the Robes for $25,000 from the Epsilon website by clicking on the "Click here to purchase official Epsilon Robes set" link then "Buy Robes".

Step 13 (8:23)

After the robes have been delivered to Michael's house in Vinewood (this takes 24 hours), get them from Michael's wardrobe under the "Outfits" tab. You need to wear them for 10 cumulative days, the easiest way to do this is to keep going to sleep until 10 days have passed at which point you will get an email leading to the next step.

Do not switch characters during the 10 day period as it is highly likely that Michael will have changed out of the robes into his normal clothes once you switch back.

Step 14 (8:56)

Go to the next symbol after wearing the robes for 10 days.

Step 15 (9:25)

Complete the mission when you get there, which is extremely simple and requires you to deliver the plane to Jimmy Boston at a nearby airfield.

Step 16 (9:55)

Go to the next icon after sleeping a few times.

Step 17 (10:08)

You will have to walk (or run) 5 miles in the desert wearing Epsilon robes. You know you are in the right place when you get a notification saying "Now inside the Epsilonism pilgrimage zone". To rack up 5 miles you can either: Stand at one end of the desert and set your waypoint at the other then run back and forth or you can rubber-band your controller so that you don't have to do it yourself. After you have travelled 5 miles, a notification saying "5 miles walked in the desert - pilgrimage complete" will pop up in the bottom left corner and you will get a phone call.

Step 18 (10:54)

Go to the final icon, which will appear immediately this time.

Step 19 (11:05)

Finish the mission, there are three ways of going about this and completing any of the three will give you the trophy:

A) Deliver the vehicle to the target destination - The reward is an old rusty tractor.

B) Escape with the blue Epsilon car before going to the target destination - You receive $1,000,000.

C) Kill everyone at the target destination and escape the cops - You get all of the money ($2,100,000) and fulfil the Gold Medal criteria. You have to initiate the shoot-out with the Epsilon guards yourself.

It is recommended to go for "C" to get a good return on both your time and monetary investment in this long side-quest. Bear in mind that you cannot replay this mission and choose another option for the money so make sure you kill everyone the first time if you want to go down that route.

Only Michael can try to join the Epsilon cult.

To begin with, you should probably visit the cult’s website - www.epsilonprogram.com (inside the game), which, by the way, exists (like many other sites from R* games). In order to visit a site, you need to enter part of its name into the search on Eyefind. There is a survey on the site “Rate your essence”, the answers to the questions do not affect anything, the answer is static. After passing the test, you will see the result, and under the result in a different font there are instructions, quite well known in some circles, on how to meet cult members. As an alternative, you can meet a random character, a preacher, who will tell you about the cult.

When visiting the site, Trevor will say that he can no longer be saved, and Franklin will say that he is not so stupid.

So:

I) Later, a question mark for the task will appear on the map (designation of the task of random characters).

Upon arrival at this place, Michael will see a red car, as in the description. Having completed the necessary actions, he learns part of the truth.

II) For the next step you will need to donate $500 through the cult website and wait a couple of days.

III) Later a new icon will appear on the map. After the meeting, you will be asked to help the cult with another contribution through the site in the amount of $5,000

IV) During the next meeting, you will be asked to deliver 5 types of transport.

Goals:

1 - Benefactor Surano - You can also buy it on the gaming Internet

2 - Pegassi Vacca - You can also buy it on the gaming Internet

3 - Dinka Double-T

4 - Declasse Tornado

5 - Enus Super Diamond - You can also buy it on the gaming Internet

V) After some time, the cult will contact you. The next mysterious meeting awaits you.

VI) The cult needs $10,000, you are asked to add the amount through the website.

VII) After the next meeting, get ready to buy an Epsilon robe/pajamas for $25,000 and wear it for 10 game days; you can, if you wish, rewind the time when saving (+6 hours). Notifications that you have worn the mantle for 24 hours will appear on the first four days and on the tenth day. A message will be received later.

VIII ) Next meeting, piloting skill will be required.

IX) After your next meeting, prepare to learn the truth by running 8 kilometers in the desert. Requires the Epsilon Robe and the Brother-Brother-issued Medallion. As you move towards your goal, notifications will appear about how far you have run, followed by auto-saving.

X) Later, you will be given an appointment at the Epsilon Center, where Chris Formage will meet you, provided you bring more money with you. Next, you are faced with a choice - to accept the truth or not.

Between stages it takes from 12 hours to a couple of days until the corresponding symbol appears on the map. If you have doubts about whether progress is being made on a task or not, then during your actions (for example, on the site, while wearing a mantle, running in the desert), pay attention to the lower right corner - if you are making progress, an autosave icon will appear.

It should only be added that the Cult of Epsilon is one of the Easter egg mysteries (rather, of course, jokes, even practical jokes) introduced into the GTA universe by developers starting with GTA: San Andreas. For those who are interested, there are many articles and videos on the Internet, doubts, statements, etc. I tried to write the hint as concisely as possible, in order to avoid plot spoilers that will not allow you to fully experience the unknown, trust/doubt, and even some mysticism while completing tasks.

This is interesting:

After any ending, Marnie (a former drug addict, epsilonist) will tell us that we should write a treatise, some kind of work dedicated to the cult. In fact, this is not an empty message, there are actually 10 treatises scattered throughout the game, I came across the first of them at the top of the mountain, on the observation platform (note the drawing in the form of an eye under the platform and the inscription written in chalk on the back end "COME BACK WHEN YOUR STORY IS COMPLETE"), not far from the second cable car... Then a message comes from Marnie with the following clue. Tubes with treatises can be collected by any character, but messages are sent to Michael.

It is very difficult to find all the Epsilon treatises using brief clues, so here is the Video .

As a reward, you will receive a message congratulating you and giving you a link www.epsilonprogram.com/tract (in the game), where you can read Epsilon's Treatise on the 9th Paradigm. Year 157.

Chris Formage is present in GTA ONLINE and helps players return to the mortal world after death.

It takes 10 days to quickly wear pajamas, the easiest way is to kill yourself with a grenade, throw it at your feet, BANG, we leave the hospital and repeat the required number of times. Unlike the “saving” option, here the time is rewinded 12 hours at once, and in general, if you are too lazy to wait for any notifications or letters from “Epsilon” to arrive, the Kiffle grenade will help pass the time!

I advise you in the last mission, where you are asked to drive a car with money, steal the car and then you will receive 2,100,000 bucks (I advise you to boil your body armor before the mission and get to your destination, and then first of all kill the helicopter pilot)

It is very important to run the entire 8 km in the desert in one go. Save often, as you can be robbed, stripped, and thrown onto the railway tracks, and the autosave will be immediately overwritten. If you leave the zone, the entire kilometer counter will reset to zero. The most convenient way is to run back and forth along the runway.

A little hint

Enus Super Diamond - can also be bought in the store! (the car looks like a Rolls Royce if you suddenly stumble upon it)

When you need to run 8 km in the desert, I pressed the joystick to the side with an elastic band and held the cross with my finger. In 20 minutes I covered the entire distance by cutting circles

For those who are too lazy to run 8 km on their own:
1) Turn on first person mode
2) Fix the left stick up, and the right stick left or right.
3) We time ~ 30 minutes (a little less)
“X” does not need to be hammered, Michael will spin around himself and in about 20 seconds. run 100m. What will you be notified about?
Fix the sticks more tightly if vibration is turned on on the gamepad. At 6.4-6.6 km Chris will call and everything may go away

The trophy dropped immediately after the final task. Game version 1.20

For those who are too lazy to run 8 km in the desert. We take 2 rubber bands, pinch the sticks so that the character walks in a circle, seal it with tape and let's go have tea) Regarding the letter with the delivery of wheelbarrows. Personally, after completing the story, the letter disappeared from my phone, but the quest still worked.

You can start the task a little faster. First, go to the above site and see the “Unsaveable” tab and go to it. Then go through the questionnaire and you will see a question mark next to the mountains and the trophy is yours

so as not to run 8 km yourself, put rubber bands on the joystick yourself and let him run in a circle, 20 minutes and that’s it.

If you have fulfilled all the conditions and the trophy does not appear, try re-entering the game and completing the last task again from the mission replay menu, and just hand over the money, all the money that you previously received on this mission will remain with you.

Benefactor Surano can be found in the city, and Vacca only in the store. SPOILER!!! In the end, I advise you to fail everyone and leave with the money, especially if you complete this task in the first couple of days they give you $2,100,000!

The trophy is swallowed.

To avoid a glitch, you must always play all missions with autosave and after each step described above, save in a new cell. And especially, if after delivering all 5 cars you still haven’t received a letter, load before the last car and try again.

While you are running through the desert, you may encounter a van with its headlights on. If you get close to him, then after all the procedures beyond your control, you will also find yourself in the desert, but without stupid pajamas. So: keep running, otherwise your pilgrimage will be stopped, i.e. the entire distance traveled will be reset to zero.

When completing the last step, I advise you to drive away from the car entrusted to you. As a last resort, you can then restart the mission.

PS I can’t vouch for these tips, because... I give them by the “repulsive” method, since I myself got into these troubles.

The trophy gets glitchy as you progress. The first time I didn’t wait for the continuation after delivering 5 cars. The second time the suit did not appear. With 100% completion I still didn’t get anything.

I replayed this mission again on an old save and got a trophy.

Make a save in two slots before purchasing the Epsilon Robe . There is a bug due to which you may have to buy the robe two or even more times! Once you buy a robe, it may not appear in your wardrobe and will have to be purchased again. Be careful, I suffered from this and had to buy a robe and spend another $25,000.

If after the pilgrimage run through the desert you were not invited to the Epsilon Center, then put on your robe again and go ahead and run through the desert! Helped me solve the problem.

Running in a suit along the airfield for 8 km, as it is written in many tips, at the 7.9 mark I saw a blue circle on the map, I thought this, according to the plot, I must have been running towards him, there was an empty car and it was honking, running up, I was killed by the person who was forced from behind( kind of like a ghost in general)
This is not like an unrelated random event with an 8 km run
I had to run 8 km again

Small additions to the tooltip that apply to the PS4 version:

1. Messages about wearing the mantle come every in-game day (not only days 1-4 and 10).

2. While running in the desert, your current progress is displayed every 100-200 meters. It is advisable to combine running with a trophy for a first-person game: firstly, there is nothing else to do besides running in a circle, and secondly, when playing in first person, the speed of running with a clenched cross is the same as that of running with a constant hammering of the cross.

And lastly: don’t forget to save before the last task, because you might regret it later))

In general, when you run through the desert, you need to stay on course, but it’s better to choose a clearing near the meeting place and run circles around it like at a stadium, but under no circumstances don’t get lost, because once you go off course, the kilometers will begin to be counted again, I did 15 km, two once off course. And at the end there’s just laughter... But they gave me a trophy... Well done guys, I’ll dream about Kiffle at night ...

I want to warn all trophy hunters with an unpleasant bug in the game. I caught him myself. After Michael completes the task of joining the Kifflom cult, where you need to collect 5 cars and drive them to the garage, the game is saved (fact). If you exit the game after this mission, you may not receive an e-mail and will not be able to continue the quest chain. You must wait for the e-mail after completing the mission about cars and do not exit the game until you receive it.
