Before you can unlock this you will need $200,000 with Franklin

Once far enough into the game after you have stolen the Lost's plane as Trevor the option to purchase the Cab Co will be available to you, now select Franklin as your active character and travel to the upper right hand corner of Los Santos City in 'East Vinewood' where there will be a House icon with ($) inside it in this location.

Travel there and buy the Downtown Cab Co. for $200,000 by walking up to the For Sale sign and press twice, once the purchase is complete you will immediately get a call from Raul who introduces himself.

Now you need to wait for a second call from Raul which may take some time so try to stick with Franklin and just play missions like normal, after 1-3 real hours you should get the phone call.
xxxDarkRuleRxxx notes that you can speed up the phone call by sleeping 6+ times in Fraklin's safehouse.

In the call Raul asks if you'd like to work on a 'Private Fare' to earn some extra money. Push the to Accept. After this, you have on your Map a new green Symbol 'P'. Drive to them and pickup the Passenger.

Play the mission out and the achievement is yours.

I had the same problem in getting the call for this achievement on both 360 and on the xbox one.

I bought the taxi company and went many hours (real time) playing around as Franklin without getting any call. Now this may have just been a coincidence, but I found if you buy the towing company, I got a call within 30 minutes real time in game for a private fare.

In order to purchase the towing company, you have to complete all of Tonya's towing missions as Franklin. You also need to call her at some point to get the next mission as it won't automatically give you all the missions consecutively.

The first time I was supposed to be a getaway driver for a guy robbing a store, and he told me to wait in an alley with the car, but he got shot by police before even reaching my car! So it was a failed fare. The second customer I got was a passenger wanting to go confront the Lost about his niece. If you get this mission, MAKE SURE YOU GET OUT OUT THE CAR WHEN HE DOES! As soon as the Lost draw their guns, kill them before they kill your passenger! After that he thanks you and advises you leave before the cops show up. Mission complete and achievement unlocked.

These are the only two missions I tried, so I am not sure if you will get something else, but hopefully this will be helpful to you.

If this is glitched for you as in not receiving the call. I suggest switching notifications from 2 mins to no delay a few times before starting a whole new game. (This is under the settings tab) It worked for me not saying it will work for everyone. Still worth a shot. I received the call not even a couple mins after this. It saved me from having to start a new game.

To get this achievement you will NEED $200,000 with Franklin

When you have $200,000 with Franklin you need to buy Downtown Cab Co. In the top right of the city (if you can't find it just find any property to buy and used the d-pad to go through the properties until you find Downtown Cab Co.)

Once you've purchased the property you will get a call from Raul and then in 6+ in game days you will get another call from Raul asking for a private fare where you deliver someone in your vehicle to their destination. Instead of waiting 2-3 real time hours I slept once as Franklin and then got the achievement "Out of your depth" and when I got out of the hospital I got the call from Raul, did the private fare and the achievement popped up.

I'm putting this up for people that experience the glitch with not getting the private fare phone call after purchasing Downtown Cab Co. I CAN'T SAY THIS WILL WORK FOR EVERYBODY BUT IT WORKED FOR ME TWICE. Please do not vote negative if it doesn't work for you, I'm just sharing what worked for me.

First and foremost, to get this achievement you need to purchase Downtown Cab Co. I believe you need $200,000 to do so. After you purchase the business you need to wait for a phone call from Raul asking you to do a private fare. His initial call will be after you make the purchase, this is not the phone call you're waiting for. He will call again in regards to the private fare. The issue that many people experience is that Raul never calls again for the private fare. If you haven't purchased the establishment yet, make sure to have at least one save slot before doing so. Do not save over it.

I've completed the private fare under three different game saves, two of which were "glitched." I THINK the issue is actually more than just not getting the call from Raul, you actually stop getting calls from all your establishments. At least that was the case for me. I noticed that under my two glitched game saves, as I approached Downtown Cab Co. I got a call from the Smoke Shop asking me to make a delivery. In both those saves I ignored it and purchased Downtown Cab Co. I don't know if this is the reason for the glitch but to be safe make sure you don't have any pending side missions for your business when you make the purchase. The game save in which I did not experience the glitch, I made sure I didn't have any current side missions pending and I did not experience the glitch. Raul basically called me a few minutes later after his initial call, I drove to AmmuNation for armor and when I came out he called. In this game save, Downtown Cab Co. was also the first business I purchased with Franklin.

For both glitched game saves I tried many things but nothing worked for me. I tried turning on my phone settings to Sleep Mode, saving, and then shutting off sleep mode. I tried killing myself with a grenade in front of Downtown Cab Co., as a Youtube video suggests, and it didn't work. I tried purchasing the Tow Truck Company, it didn't work. I tried clearing my cache and it didn't work. I kept playing the game for 2 plus weeks simply being patient and nobody ever called (for any establishment). What did work for me was basically going on Kill Frenzies. Before you do this, make sure you shut off Autosave from the pause settings. I don't know if that makes a difference but I had it off so I'm just suggesting you do exactly what I did. Also if you decide to quit and shut off your Xbox, all those deaths will not be saved when you return and you will not lose the ammo. Anyhow, I started shooting people in the street until the cops came and I would just hold my ground and kill as many as I could until I died. In one of the glitched saves I did that out of frustration/fun and I actually got the call after my second time coming out of the hospital. I tried on my original glitched save and it took me many more attempts. But after about the 8-10th time waking up from the hospital I got the call as well. Give it about a minute after waking up from the hospital before continuing your Rampage.

I can't say this is going to work for everybody but it worked for me 2 out of 2 times. Good luck.

You will need $200,000 to buy the cab co as already stated.

If like me the missions do not show, call 611-555-0126. This is Liz. You will collect her for a 'booty call' and return to her place.

Following this in a minute or so you should get a call from the cab company for another fare.

Complete the fare and bam!

THIS GUIDE IS MORE AIMED TOWARDS THOSE HIT WITH THE BUG.

To get this achievement you will need to buy the Downtown Cab Co and then complete a private fare, which is not always the same fare IIRC. I would say that the best way to achieve this bug free would be buying the Cab Co ASAP, which should not long after completing some missions with Trevor and gaining back control of Michael & Franklin. You should receive what would be the 2nd call from Raul offering you the job, accept, quick save and complete.

Now of you've been hit with the bug and have tried everything else, this is what helped me.

Firstly, the only reasons I can see for the bug occurring for me was that I bought other properties first and then ignored the text to help out at "Pitchers" (property), after that I received no other calls across all characters. The other reason for the bug may have been a corrupted save location.

After this I decided to sleep and create a new save location, slept 5 more times and the made a booty call, as I was taking her back I got a call from the 1st place I bought - which I completed this time. I went and slept 6 times again after that and carried on with collectables, as I was approaching the Vinewood sign I got the call and then the achievement - The fare was to drive to the Vinewood sign, which might be telling so could be worth looking at spawn and finish locations for fares and then driving around the area.

This is my experience getting this achievement. First I bought the cab company and got the initial call that welcomes you. Then I finished the Tonya towing missions and before I bought the tow company I saved my game. I then bought the tow company and immediately received a phone call from the taxi company. I accepted the taxi mission and completed it and no achievement so I the reloaded my save and did it two more times and no achievement I then rebooted my xbox series x and reloaded the save file did the cab mission and the achievement popped up for me. after many tries this is what worked for me, quick save to a new slot, quit the game, restart the game and load that save wait 30 seconds and got the call.
