Whilst story mode is loaded up press 
and scroll right using 
to the 'Rockstar Editor' menu and press 
to enter. Choose 'Director Mode' from here and accept the launch.
Click actors and pick your GTA online character from the online characters menu. You will obviously need to have created or transferred your character over.
Once the mode loads the achievement will pop, here's a video

Thanks Spilner! You might want to add that this achievement DOESN'T require an active Gold Live account, as mine has run out and I still unlocked it!

Director mode is offline but I will add it in for this one. (So long as another account isn't sharing gold with your xbox?)
