Grand Theft Auto V (Xbox One)

No pop. No help from this guide.

I purchased a SMG, then all of the mods & tints for it. No achievement. Does this have to be a specific weapon?

Not quite idiot proof, but I can point out that it is for Story Mode only, not Online, so you'll have to progress far enough to unlock all the upgrades in the main game.

This is not just for Story Mode. In GTA Online I bought the Combat Pistol, Extended Clip, Flashlight, Suppressor, and the Green tint. The achievement popped once I exited the Ammu-Nation store.

Is this just for sidearms, such as the pistol?

I got it to unlock with the bullpup rifle and I was in online mode. I got the extended clip, flashlight, scope, suppressor, grip, and army tint. When I backed out of looking at guns the achievement popped up. I’m not sure if all of those items are needed or not.

I tried this with the regular Pistol and the SNS Pistol on Story Mode and the achievement didn’t pop. This might be glitched. Does anyone know another solution?

I couldn't get this to work in Story Mode at all. Bought multiple weapons with all the upgrades and nothing happened.

I tried it in Online mode with the Compact Rifle and it popped immediately.

Load mission "Nervous Ron", buy everything for sniper rifle (except ammo) - achievement pops, no need to be online.

Achievement didnt popped for me on nervous ron nor later when i bought all attachment and even a camo for any, vanilla game, gun

One of the shops was undiscovered for me, and doubly obscured by a big R with its yellow circle around it. The store was right behind the R's startup circle. Here's a useful map: https://guides.gamepressure.com/gtav/guide.asp?ID=22125

fully upgraded 5 different weapons in story mode trying to get this to unlock. No luck.

Signed into online and upgraded 1 gun fully, achievement popped

I’m not sure why folks are having trouble with this achievement. This pops during the Trevor mission “Nervous Ron”. This mission begins on two ATVs and you go to the Ammu-Nation store first thing. You get a free sniper rifle, free advanced scope, and free suppressor. Popped right there.

Definitely glitchy or requires specific upgrades/guns. In story I upgraded a couple of guns and got no achi. I then bought the advance scope for the sniper rifle and got the achi. For some reason I only had the standard scope on it after the Nervous Ron mission (advanced scope cost too much when I played the mission?). Also, it only had the original Black Tint, so you don't have to buy a different tint.
