How to unlock the Above the Law achievement in Grand Theft Auto V - Definitive Guide
In order to reach level 100, you must accumulate a total of 1,584,350 RP. You can get RP for various activies to include heists, missions, and more.
You can also farm RP indefinitely if you have access to a second Xbox and account. For the no effort method, ensure each of the consoles you intend to use are set not to shut down after inactivity. Ensure that controllers for both are wired to the console so that the batteries in the controller do not die. Now, take the second or dummy account and buy an office in GTA online (this is done to ensure eligibility to become a CEO.) One of the offices available to buy is completely free. Once the office is purchased, use the interaction menu (hold the button) and select Register as a Boss, then select SecuroServ CEO.
Now, have your character join that character in the multiplayer session. With the dummy account, use the interaction menu, select SecuroServ CEO and select hire associates. Following that you can choose any number of options to hire specific players. Choose to hire your main account as an associate.
Now, find an area that will keep you safe from other players and take both characters to that spot. I suggest an apartment or house owned by one of the characters. From there, find a couch on which you can seat both characters. It is important that they are seated next to one another or at least very close to one another. Once they're seated, take both wired controllers from each Xbox and rubber band the two joysticks. This will prevent you from being kicked from the GTA online sessions for activity.
Approximately every minute you will get 200 RP as a reward for maintaining close proximity to the CEO. If you leave this running and have all the parameters set as above, you will gain RP indefinitely with no action required on your part. However, this method will take a very long time. With around 12,000 RP per hour it will take you 5 and a half consecutive days (12,000 RP/hr into the 1,584,350 is 132 hours, or 5 days and 12 hours.)
I have done this method now for 2 days and have gone from level 39 to level 70 and counting.
1: Completing a mission as a team as opposed to solo will give you a 20% increase in your RP reward for that mission and if a member of that team is in the same Crew as you, you will receive a further 10% boost.
2: Setting the difficulty to "Hard" in the pre-mission options will also give you a 1.5x RP boost upon completion.
Since Patch 1.06, almost all avenues of boosting RP quickly and efficiently have been removed by Rockstar. Therefore, reaching Rank 100 is an extremely long grind that will easily take upwards of 100 hours just if you are solidly doing Jobs and performing well in them. There are a few RP exploits that get found, which is to be expected with an Online mode of this size, but Rockstar are extremely diligent and as soon as they are found and posted on the Internet (such as on Youtube or their own forums), they will act very quickly to remove them.
Exploits usually appear after new patches, so my advice would be to closely monitor the GTA V forum of this site and this thread in particular to see if any new exploits appear. Then, get onto them as quickly as possible because the better and faster they are, the quicker they will be removed. Similarly, keep an eye out for Double XP weekends and use them to your advantage to lessen the grind.
[AUTOPOP] If you import an existing character from PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, provided you are at the requisite rank or above it, you will gain the appropriate trophies the next time you rank up or the next time you complete an activity such as a race. You might need to do this for every rank, for a maximum of three times.
Every mission, activity and challenge you complete in GTA Online will net you Reputation Points (RP). This RP is essentially experience points that will increase your overall Rank. In order to reach Rank 100, you will need to gain just about 1,584,350 RP. It is recommended to complete as many Jobs and activities available whenever you are playing online in order to net a good amount of RP during your session.
In other words, as soon as Lester, Martin, or any other NPC calls you with a job, do not ignore it! Also, it's worth mentioning here that playing with fellow crew members and full lobbies will net a little more RP than usual at the end of an activity. Since most of the great RP-grinding methods from the Xbox 360 version of the game have been patched, this achievement will take a very long time in obtaining legitimately.
Unfortunately, many of the low-ranking jobs players will receive are short and do not offer that much RP. Despite this truth, it is absolutely necessary to complete as many jobs as possible until the more rewarding ones, such as Coveted (unlocked at Rank 36) and Rooftop Rumble (unlocked at Rank 75), are available. Once you reach these ranks, the aforementioned missions can be started by performing the following steps: Pause > Online > Jobs > Host Job > Missions > Coveted/Rooftop Rumble.
As mentioned, this achievement will require some plenty of dedicated hours of playtime. Some of the jobs may get extremely tedious if you decide to perform the same one over and over again, so try varying your activities to help unload the stress involved with this achievement.
Every mission, activity and challenge you complete in GTA Online will net you Reputation Points (RP) which are essentially experience points that increase your overall Rank. In order to reach Rank 100, you will need to gain exactly 1,584,350 RP. Also, do take note that playing with crew members and full lobbies will net your more RP at the end of an activity.
One of the best, fool-proof methods in ranking up quickly would be to a boosting partner and complete the "Criminal Records" Race. In order to load that up quickly, follow these steps: Pause > Online > Jobs > Host Job > Races > Criminal Records.
Now, just set the "Vehicle Type" to Super and "Laps" to TWO. On average, each lap will take about 35 seconds and you will gain around 500-2000RP at the end of the race, depending on when place you finish in. In addition to this, you will also net an additional 700-6000RP+ (dependent on your Rank) for various bonuses upon completing the very first lap of this race. The reason this race works so well when ranking up is because the race track is literally a full circle, so there is no worry for tight turns, collisions or traffic.
Overall, this achievement will require some dedicated hours of playtime, but with all the thrilling activities and unique missions around San Andreas, the road to Rank 100 shouldn't be too terrible. Of course, do take advantage of the Criminal Records method, as it will lessen the time it takes to reach Rank 100.

The task from Martin opens at level 75! Gives $25,000 and 4,500 reputation and is done in 1 minute!
Level 100 - 1,584,350 xp.
Every day the player is offered 3 simple tasks to complete (long press Select - Daily tasks). For completing all three they give 3000 RP and money. The meaning of the glitch is that some tasks can be completed within missions, gain experience, leave online alone, then return and complete again.
The order is as follows (for example, I came across tasks: a shootout on a vehicle, a parachute jump, a wheelie ride for 10 seconds):
1) We go to the general online, complete the first two tasks (you can lose) the shootout, jump with a parachute;
2) Launch the Network - Cases - Created by Rockstar - Races - select a suitable race (it’s best to take off at the airport, where right from the start you can stand on your rear wheel and ride for 10 seconds).
3) When the task is accepted, experience and money are awarded, wait 10-60 seconds until the yellow save circle spins in the lower right corner of the screen.
4) After saving, unplug the power cord from the console, after a couple of seconds the game will write that it is switching to single-player mode - plug the cord back in and wait for the single-player to load.
5) From a single player, we immediately load back into the network game (to load faster, you can do it through a session by invitation) - the last task will be active again, but the experience and money will remain.
6) We continue until we have enough strength and patience.
The only downside of the method is that daily tasks are random and in half the cases there are ones that cannot be completed within missions without completing them. The most successful tasks for farming: flying under a bridge, taking testosterone, driving a wheelie, destroying 5 cars - in general, those that can be started by starting a race or completing a task at the very beginning. If some tasks are not clear from the description, there is a video on YouTube where absolutely all the tasks are clearly demonstrated.
BONUS:
This method can be developed into a complete freebie. If you complete daily tasks every day (just be sure to save the process with all completed tasks), on the seventh day you will be given weekly tasks, for which they give 15,000 RP and $100,000. Follow the same algorithm as indicated above. This way I upgraded from 80 to 100 in less than 2 hours. The main thing is that at least one of the tasks can be completed within the mission.

I’ll tell you a little about this method. It’s not necessary to choose the same mission as in the video, it’s enough to choose a mission in which the cops will follow you. Next, we go to this place, to make life easier for you, put the car under the wall, it’s easier to get in. When you make 100 kills, and this about 5-7 minutes, we call Lester and get rid of the cops. We go to the place and complete the mission.
And yes, I don’t recommend hanging in this bug for a long time, since the longer you complete the mission, the less money you will receive, and you need to buy ammunition for something.
I can recommend two ways to quickly get the coveted level.
Method 1: For this method you need a friend. Follow the link
Mark this task. Now it will be marked on your map. Come in with a friend and bet 7 rounds. You will win this game, so your friend wins 6 rounds, and then you.
First, you stand on the border of your zone and carry 7 cases, and then a friend kills you (this gives additional experience) and carries 8 cases. Then you win the remaining rounds to the bitter end. Then you change. I would like to say that this method is a bit tedious, but it is the fastest option. Personally, I've been leveling like this for the last 10 levels.
A little math: for one round you get 1075 RP (this is assuming that you get 75 for a kill, although I was given 94) one round takes about a minute, and for 7 rounds you will get about 7525RP.
Method 2: There is a fairly easy task that brings experience (3200-5300RP) and money ($14800-29700). It's called "Garbage Business" given by Martin at level 81. This task is mainly good for saving money. Especially if you buy a military assault helicopter, you don’t have to waste your ammunition at all. Call the helicopter and go ahead. But if your level is below 81, then you will need a friend who has this task. And when you reach level 81, let a friend invite you. Complete the task and it will be on your list (this is necessary so that you cannot complete all tasks from Martin).
