How to unlock the A perfect gift achievement in Graveyard Keeper - Definitive Guide

Once you meet the Astrologer (by the lighthouse on the east edge of the map on the crescent moon days), he’ll ask for a skull in exchange for information. You can get a skull (once you’ve unlocked the appropriate technology) by extracting it from a dead body during an autopsy. Once you bring it to the astrologer the achievement pops.

For me, the achievement just pops a day after(real time)

Good to know! The achievements have been popping right away for me, but as a new release it wouldn't shock me if there were slight delays or bugs...

The first quest for the Astrologer's chain involves giving him a Skull to show that your intentions of knowledge seeking lie beyond the restrictions of the common man (or under the control of the Inquisition). He requests a Skull, which is normally taboo to carry around, but during one of your extractions of a corpse, remove it and return it to him in order to get this trophy and earn some trust with him.

What I would suggest: if you have already extracted Blood and Fat from the corpse and it still has some red skulls or only a little white, go ahead and remove the Skull, Skin, and Meat from it as well and either burn it if you have that unlocked or dump it. You don't want that refuse stinking up your graveyard if it can't provide any boosts, and the excess material you can obtain from it is worth it in some form.

This is the first task the Astrologer will give you when you first meet him. In order to give him a skull, you’ll have to unlock the ability to harvest a skull from a body under the “Anatomy and alchemy” tree. This will only cost you 10 red points and 5 green points.

Whenever you get a body dropped off to you, select the skull to be harvested and then proceed to harvest it. Now go back to the Astrologer on the day of the Sloth and give him the skull.
