How to unlock the His house achievement in Graveyard Keeper - Definitive Guide
A part of the Priest's questline, you'll have to proceed through several steps involving the graveyard and church.
1. Repair the graveyard to where you have +5 graveyard points. This is tracked in the graveyard itself in the top right.
2. After you reach this, he'll open the church for you, give you the Preacher perk, and award you your first prayer. He'll request twenty Ceramic bowls to feed the poor with his soup kitchen. You can either make this or, if you've progressed with Snake, you can get them from breaking the pots and getting a random drop. A third option would be from buying them from the potter in the village.
3. The next step involves getting +30 graveyard points and +20 holy points. Using candelabras and candles, you can gain a temporary +1 from the candles (from +1 to +2), meaning you would only need to make a confessional, two benches, two candelabras, and perhaps either another confessional or shrine (what I built initially) to reach a bit. Light the candles by putting them in the candelabra will give you the temporary boost, which lasts a day. As for the graveyard, make sure you are simply removing blood and fat from corpses, which should be -1 red / +1 white skull a piece. +4 white and 0 red are ideal corpses to bury, and then you can either put wooden fixtures or go a step above and use stone fixtures to decorate them.
4. He'll ask for some 4x *copper* Quality Fish Filets. You can obtain these by fishing up copper quality or higher fish and then preparing them on your cooking table.
5. With the fish given, he'll be ready to help you upgrade your church. The only problem here comes with the fee. The initial opening of the church will also open the messaging box to the Royal Treasury. Within the menu is the Citizen spread of options, where the Building permission is located. You need to become a full-fledged Citizen first before getting this, so overall you're looking at 20 silver (for the building permission) and 50 copper (for citizenship). Give this to the Priest to get this trophy and expand your church.
*Immediate warning: Upgrading your church will restrict your ability to Preach until you provide Rightful Citizen Papers to the Priest, who later states it wasn't required. Do this upgrade after you've got the Rightful Citizen Papers.
