Once you are tasked with finding the Clay Shards, go talk with Adam. He's a new NPC located just west of your underground exit next to the merchant's warehouse. He'll tell you to upgrade your tavern. Before returning to the tavern, first go home and grab or craft:
x30 Wooden Plank
x30 Piece of Stone
x12 Simple Iron Part
Also take along a stock of extra planks, flitches, and nails. About 20 of each should be sufficient. Now head back to the tavern and upgrade it at the blueprint table, then build a couple new tables. If you've been diligent about adding relic items to the display case, then your achievement should unlock now. If not, then build a few of the barrels around the tavern. You'll need them for the next achievement anyway.
