If you are in Band Quick Play with others, I suggest choosing Bass. You can also get this while playing along to get the "Dirnt Dirnt Dirnt Dirnt" achievement. You have to get at least 3 Stars on all the songs in the game with the Bass. Good thing is, for those who can't exactly play on Hard or Expert, you can do this on ANY difficulty.

Just adding that songs played in challenges DO count, so rock them out on bass while you try to finish them for the 'Make the best of this test' cheeve.

You need to play and get three stars on every song in this game on bass. Which is every song except Song of the Century which only has vocals.
You can do this on any difficulty and you can also have no fail on. So you can play up until you get three stars on expert with no fail on and then just let the song play.
To play all the songs is a little over three and a half hours.
Another note the challenges in career DO count towards this achievement.

This can be done on easy difficulty. You just need to get 3 stars on each song while playing bass.
A, CATSHOVEL
To earn this achievement, you will need to earn three stars on every song in the game, aside from “Song of the Century”, on Bass. I would suggest doing this on your way to “You Had the Time of Your Life” to save a lot of time. This can be earned on any difficulty in Career, Quickplay, and in Challenges. You can check your progress for this and all other achievements in the “Achievements” menu in game.
