How to unlock the Sweet Children achievement in Green Day Rock Band - Definitive Guide

For this achievement you need to accumulate a total score of 1,000,000 for your Vocal Harmonies career. (This can still be done with only ONE mic).

Not every song in the game has harmonies (Coming Clean, Wake Me Up When Septemeber Ends, American Idiot, Good Riddance [Time Of Your Life] and Song Of The Century do not)

When you go to pick a song you are given the option to pick Harmonies or Solo, Always pick Harmonies.
This can be done on any difficulty, the higher the difficulty the quicker this will unlock, i suggest that once you have finished working on this achievement you move onto the next instrument for the next 1,000,000 score achievement to save you time.
Note: Im not the stongest singer but i managed to get this on Easy by huming the tunes, i got it on the second to last song.

This is the accumulative of your BEST scores from Quick Play or Career so you cannot replay the same song over and over, Challenge scores DO NOT count towards this.

It appears that points earned in challenges do NOT count, but points earned in quickplay DO count. Please correct me if I'm wrong, thanks.

The scores are your best scores achievemed in either quick play or career, i do not think challenge scores count since you are just playing the song again. I'll update later.

Yes, it's your best score on each song from either career or quickplay. Challenges don't count, probably because your score, multiplier, and overdrive carry over from song to song within a challenge.

For this you need more than two microphones right?

No in RB there is no beginner mode and the mic tends to only pick up single noises, i am terrible at singing and managed to hum the pitches to get this, with a little practice im sure you can do it too.

Yeah they are quite hard =) on easy the note arrow (i really dont know what its called) seems to be slightly magnetised to the note guide so it isnt as hard, good luck.

In case anyone's wondering, the DLC songs DO count!

I got this just now doing either easy or medium. Once you improve it's worth going from easy to medium, even if it is just a 20,000 point increase as 'it all keeps adding up'

Also stick with the ones you know. I was able to ignore a lot of Dookie songs this way.

For this one, the score only counts from songs played in career mode and if you repeat a song you do not get all the score from it again, you will only get the extra score you got over your previous best on it or if you did not beat your old score, your career score will remain unchanged.

This you can get by just playing through the game while singing. Once you reach a total of 1 million points across the different game modes, the trophy will unlock. You must be singing by yourself.

You need to earn 1,000,000 points across all of your songs in Career and Quickplay on Harmony Vocals. Higher difficulties will earn you more points. Try to keep a multiplier for as long as possible; deploy Overdrive when you have a 4x multiplier.
