How to unlock the Could It Be Magic? achievement in GRID 2 - Definitive Guide
You can get this achievement during season 3.
In every season you will be introduced to some new clubs before the WSR can start.
All this clubs do have their own prestige driver. Now you have to place better than this AI driver in an event of his club.
The last of this clubs is the drift club "Haruna Kyojin", which is the third in season 3.
If you finish an event in first position you obviously also beat the prestige driver, though beating only him should be enough.
This driver will always be presented to you in a short video sequence right before the event starts.
There is a total of 8 clubs, in detail as follows:
Season 1 (America):
New Union (Race club, Champ: Harrison Carter)
Trans America Pacers (Faceoff club, Champ: Bruno Silva)
Season 2 (Europe):
Divizero (Time Attack club, Champ: Lucien Galfione)
Eliminacion (Elimination club, Champ: Lorenzo Vela)
Euro Rand (Race club, Champ: Callum Kirkwood)
Season 3 (Asia):
Kowloon Dragons (Touge club, Champ: Zhi Huang)
Dubai VIP (Checkpoint club, Champ: Saeed Nasser)
Haruna Kyojin (Drift club, Champ: ???)
Note:
Several people have reported that this achievement did not properly unlock for them although it should have. In that case systematically replaying (and winning) club events through the timeline mode can help to make it unlock.
However, the first thing you should give a try would be the following:
Simply redo the face-off events in season one.
Why?
In the face-off events there are multiple opponents, but you race only against 3 of them during the different stages, while the others "eliminate" themselves.
So it could happen that you win the event overall, but you didn't encounter the champion of the club (couldn't find out the name so far...) and though you have beaten him indirectly anyway, it possibly counts only if you beat him yourself in a face-off.
Please also refer to the comments section for more details on the issue.

I've won every race so far and I'm into Season 5 without this achievement?

If you go to "Timeline" you can access all previous seasons. Could you please check that you didn't left out a club or that there's one where you have no first place.
If you won every event until season 3 inclusive you should clearly have gotten it. Did you change difficulty during a season (not sure, but could be the case that this affects the statistics)?

If you're like me and have beat the game and won every race, but the achievement dud not unlock. Go to season 1 and select the Miami OCEAN DRIVE faceoff event, the guy you want to beat is on the second round his name is Carlos Alvarez... if you don't come up against him quit and restart the event. This is why people may have not unlocked the achievement. Because you don't always race him.
*edit* if Carlos Alvarez is not the guy to beat then it could be Bruno Silva. (thanks to spikeylizard)

I actually raced him in the first round, on my second attempt and once I had completed all 3 races the achievement unlocked. So solution worked for me

I came up against him first but I think the guy you want is Bruno Silva because like ukinspro I beat Carlos first and the cheevo didn't pop but as soon as I beat Bruno it did ,also noticed his name was in capitols were as the other racers weren't ,not sure if this is helpful.

If you did rOCDed first, just replay the first face-off in the season 1 and it'll pop-up during the loading screen after the three races.
You will get this on your way to You RoCDed!. If you finish every event on the podium (1st, 2nd or 3rd), you will be getting this at the end of Season 3.
This achievement will come with natural progression of the WSR, as long as you typically finish within the top 3 in every race. The achievement is for finishing ahead of all club drivers throughout your career, and you should come across all of them by WSR season 3.
