How to unlock the Shaken, Not Stirred achievement in GRID 2 - Definitive Guide

Create a custom event as follows:
-Race Type: Race
-Vehicle Tier: Tier Two
-Rounds: 1 Round
-Flashbacks (Advanced Options): Unlimited
-Track Selection: Hong Kong - Magazine Gap - Day
-Vehicle: Nissan Nismo R34T-R Z-Tune

At the start of the race, you'll just want to race and distance yourself from opponents, and run the track until your 50% complete, which is indicated by the red gauge on the bottom left hand side. After this mark, there will be a 90 degree right hand turn, followed by a small curve in the road with a cliff on the right hand side. You'll want to take your car and steer into this cliff, in such a way that you get airborne and thrown off balance into the track. If done properly, you'll begin to roll (side over side) and then come to a stop. You'll land on your wheels almost every time so don't worry about that either. Also, if your car does not start rolling, just use your flashback and try to hit the cliff again in a slightly different way. View the video for an in-depth walkthrough of how to do this:


Note: Flips (front over back) do not count towards this achievement. The car must do barrel rolls.

if you doing enough barrel rolls, but don't land on your wheels, use flashback and continue DURING the crash, not before you hit the cliff. You can "control" your car with the L Stick a litle bit and this allow you to change the result of the crash. I managed it to land on my wheels this way and i also did some (unnessary) extra rolls.

Hey thanks for the guide! worked perfectly for me. Just a couple things wrong with the guide. the track is magazine gap not way also, you want a race not drift. And just to add one more thing, I was able to do it with a tier 1 car.

Great tip, just have to wait until I get that car.

Do you know if it can be unlocked in online race? I'm positive I did more than enough rolls in a race, but it didn't.

This might need to be done using the car view in the video. I spent 10 minutes trying this using bonnet cam and didn't get it. Got it first try using the car view in the video.

dont think the car matters much, i did this and i only had a charger as tier 2 car so did the achiev with that one !

The car and track above were what I found to be the easiest to get the trophy. Any heavy car will do though as it can carry the flips easier. What you want to do is create a custom event using those settings and remember to put unlimited flashbacks on! As soon as you first reach the cliffs you will go back into a forest area, here is where the ramp is located. This place is perfect place to get the rolls as it is also downhill. The hardest part is getting the car to end up rolling down the hill.
