How to unlock the Social Butterfly achievement in GRID 2 - Definitive Guide

The achievement description says it all. Join an online playlist then stay for 5 races. Please note that these races have to be consecutive. You cannot leave then join a playlist and hope to finish it off. It has to be 5 in a row but you do not have to win or even finish.
You can get 3 finished races and 2 races where the time runs out before you can finish and it'll still count.

Do note if you're dualboxing and get the other box disqualified in each race, that one might disconnect. Will confirm if this affects the consecutive run...

Edit: Okay, so this will still count for the box that didn't disconnect (presumably yours). To mitigate this, switch over to the other box and spectate your own car, then use it to drive. Be mindful of input lag.

It doesn't matter if in those 5 races you win, lose, DNF or wreck just so long as you participate in 5 events in a row during the same playlist.

The achievement will pop at the end of the 5th event.

Start up an online play session and join a playlist. Keep racing without quitting out and this will pop during the loading screens after 5 races.

Straight-forward. All you need to do is get in a online playlist and play at least 5 races. After the 5th, the trophy will pop.

Go to "GRID Online", then "Events", then "Xbox LIVE" and select "Online Playlist". Now pick any of the 3 playlists available which include "Everything", "Racing" & "Alternative". Once you join one of these playlists, you cannot leave the lobby for at least 5 events. You do not have to win or finish for the races to count. A DNF or Disqualification will still count as taking part in the race. Just keep playing until the achievement unlocks. Picking the Racing playlist, this shouldn't take more than 20-25 minutes.
