How to unlock the Super Drift achievement in GRID 2 - Definitive Guide

- I used the Aston Martin One - 77 (Tier 4) for this achievement.
This car is not oversteering too much and therefore you can use it for a smooth and rather long drift.

- There is a very long corner which goes to the right (I think it's the third one) with three pylons on the right side.

- Just try to drift around that corner (use B) with a medium speed and very close to these pylons to get a high combo (I had a 7x combo).

- It's more luck based to get a great combo so don't be frustrated as it is going to take a while to get the achievement.

EDIT: Thanks for Briana11 VR46 who told me that you guys should set rewinds to unlimited so you don't have to restart the whole race.

Took me about 5 minutes to get it.
Maybe you should add in your solution to set flashbacks on unlimited so you got enough chances to flash it back to the straight before the corner. In the end you will get the right line & speed to get the x7 combo and enough points for the achievement.

@Fury thanks man, the tier 4 ones are annoying as hell.. the tier 1 camaro did the trick for me in the last corner after only 4-5 rewinds with a score 60k something x5 combo :)

@fury camaro ftw 354k! X5 keep rewinding and tweaking how close you can get front bumper to cone without clipping it.

I was able to get 315,000 in a Nissan Fairlady Z. Tier One Drift, Unlimited Flashbacks. Took about 5 minutes. I tried before that with Aston Martin One-77 and Camaro Z28 and couldn't make it work. Once I found a car that worked for me, not too hard. Whole process took about 20 minutes.

Used the car you recommended. Definitely a good choice for drifting.
Took me an hour to get though. I managed to get a 366K drift, which is my best drift by far. Had to resort to getting real close to the first pylon and rewinding in mid drift to perfect it, and then the same for the second pylon. Really hard to drift past the third, but when you do you should have enough to get the achievement.
Thanks for the guide.

There is one corner in the Spa drift section that should make this obtainable. It's the 180 degree right hand turn Rivage, Corner #10 in the track map shown below. Aim for at least a 6x multiplier and the target score should be within reach.

Use a Tier 3 or 4 balanced/drift car for this one. You will need some power to keep the slide going on long enough. Flashbacks (press to use) should be set to unlimited so you can retake bad sections or start the drift from the beginning entirely.

This may take a few tries, but perseverence and suitable use of flashbacks is the key to success here.
