The first achievement you will unlock in the game.
Play through as normal, killing and questing until you reach level 10. The achievement will pop as soon as you reach it - it doesn't matter if you've leveled your skills or stats or not. For me, playing on normal difficulty with Veteran activated, I hit it around the same time I discovered the second portal, after the quest where you need to investigate Burial Hill. I was throughout exploring, though.
