Right at the beginning of Year 2, you will be on the balcony of your casino. Go inside and interact with the writing desk by your bed to obtain some letters. The first letter will be read automatically, before Manny says he will read the rest later. Go into your inventory and read the letters multiple times until the achievement unlocks!

You can read it by examining it in your inventory (X) no need to pull it out each time :)

My game (on PC) crashed every time I tried reading it in the office, and when I eventually read it the game started crashing on startup. I had to redo whole year 1, try avoiding saving the game in the office.
