How to unlock the Assimilation achievement in GRIME - Definitive Guide

I got this when I was still missing at least one major boss and also the Frantic and Eyebrute, so I suspect it's based on acquiring the number of traits that were present in Grime pre the DLC that's included with the XBox release.

Unlock most skills in the game. Skills are awarded for killing enemies by absorption/riposte (you must kill by absorption, NOT with weapons/objects). Each time after absorbing a new enemy, at the bottom of the screen it is indicated how many enemies of this type need to be absorbed in order to “complete the hunt” / unlock the skill. There is no need to absorb all types of enemies in the game - the trophy drops in the final third of the game.
