How to unlock the Exoskeleton achievement in Grounded - Definitive Guide
There are currently 5 different sets of tier 2 armor. In my opinion the easiest to craft is Bee Armor (an argument could be made for Black Ant Armor as well).
To get the parts required for Bee Armor, first you'll want a decent bow or a giant amount of spears. Head over to the hedge (in the far eastern part of the yard) and look up into the bush - you'll see lots of blueberries hanging there. Shooting a berry will knock it down and allow you to retrieve your arrow (usually) and hack up the berry with your axe. You'll need 27 berry chunks in order to refine 9 berry leathers. This is a relatively stress-free process, you might see the occasional larva under the hedge but that's about it.
Now go over to the picnic table (central western part of the map) and make sure you have some kind of explosive if this is your first time at the table. You'll have to knock down the shovel to get up there, which requires blowing up a rock that's propping the shovel up. You can make bratbursts by going into the red ant nest for larva and the haze for infected bug parts (both areas are relatively close to the strange machine - I recommend consulting the Grounded wiki for assistance on making bratbursts).
Once the shovel is down, you can climb up the handle to the first level of the picnic table. There are bees everywhere up here. They are passive unless you attack one or get very close to it. Find one that's by itself (they can group aggro) and bow/spear it until it's dead, they don't have a huge amount of health. Watch your back for random bees that notice what you're doing. You'll need 13 bee fuzz and 1 bee stinger to continue.
With these pieces in hand, you just need 6 web fibers to complete your bee set. You can easily farm those at the wooden fence near the oak tree, just use your axe to chop down spiderwebs. As you can imagine, this is much easier if the actual spiders have wandered off somewhere. That's it - just analyze your pieces for the recipes and enjoy your bee armor!
