Grounded

Director Schmector is the Boss of the secret lab in Moldorc Castle. This is the castle with the green face on the far right side of the map in the upper backyard. There isn’t a natural way to get to it so you’ll have to either build straight to it or build up high enough to glide over. I suggest going up the backside as there are significantly less Tiger Mosquitoes patrolling there.

Once you’re at the castle you’ll see a staircase to the right of the open mouth. As you go up you’ll see a button that can only be pushed with a Tier III hammer. Push it. Now enter the mouth. There will be two red button looking things that require a Tier III Axe to break. Do that too. Then descend through the crack in the Center towards the lab at the bottom. To actually get into the lab, you will need to bring Wendell with you. (The head in a jar you find after defeating the Mant). He will hack into the lab. I play on mild for the sake of easier achievements so there was only one ORC fire ant in the first room but that might change by difficulty. After clearing the first room, descend downwards to the boss arena.

Director Schmecter is weak to two things, sour damage and busting damage so bring a sour black ox hammer (mine was level 7 on mild difficulty so if youre on higher difficulties you might need a better one). If you are also on mild, you probably wont need a ton of healing items once you get the fight down. I managed it with one fiber bandage and 5 healbasas. You’ll likely need more if you dont have upgraded armor/are on higher difficulties.

The fight itself has 5 stages:
Stage 1: Full health to 80%. Nothing too crazy about this stage. The Director will send energy balls at you occasionally but thats about it.

Stage 2: 80% to 60% health. The Director will do the thing the assistant manager did where it slams its arm into the ground activating turrets on the wall. They send out energy balls in all directions. Probably about a dozen at a time. My best advice is to dodge them until there are only a couple then go in and whack the director.

Stage 3: 60% to 40% health: The director spawns in ORC Orb Weaver Jrs. I tried to just whack the director and ignore the spiders, but he calls them in too fast for this. Kill the spiders with your normal weapon, then attack the director with your hammer.

Stage 4: 40% health to 20% health. The director activates green lasers that shoot diagonally across the room. Luckily, there is a safe zone at the very back of the room (under the tv screen). The green lasers dont hit there so stay there. The director will shoot orbs of energy at you and will occasionally twitch around before releasing an electric pulse, but you dont have to worry about the lasers so its not too bad.

Stage 5: 20% to death. The director does everything at once. Don’t worry though its not as bad as it sounds. You can actually take quite a bit if his remaining health away before he even activates anything. Stay in the safe zone, kill the occasional spider, and use your bow and hammer and you should be fine and unlock your achievement!

tl;dr-go to moldorc castle(far right of map), hit button on side of head, hit two red buttons in mouth, have wendell hack into lab at bottom of castle, beat the crap outta director schmector with a sour black ox hammer.
