Reaching level 10 Brainpower is achieved by analyzing anything and everything you collect at the Resource Analyzer found at any of the Field Stations.

If you have not analyzed something there will be an exclamation icon in the upper right corner of the item.

Brainpower is used to unlock weapon and armor blueprints. As of the September 2022 release (officially out of early access) the max Brainpower level is 15. So keep analyzing even after you reach level 10.

Co-op

I play solo (take the hint that one person who sent an unsolicited invite) so this is cobbled together from the comments.

If you're the host you can obtain this achievement.
If you're not host some claim you can't get the achievement while others claim you can, including on subsequent level ups of Brainpower after 10 was achieved.

As a side note, now that the game is in full release it is possible that early access saves might prevent this achievement from unlocking. If you load an early access save the game does say some things might be unstable.

This does not work in coop, only the host gets the Achievement.

I can confirm this unlocks in co op. When I joined my mate and analysed something.

Can confirm that this does unlock in co-op but as @JonoTheSalty said, the other person who joined had to analyse something new for it to trigger.

COOP: does not work for the non hosts
Tried this yesterday, the host got it, I then analyzed something new, didn't pop for me.

Even with the 1.0 update it doesn’t unlock in co-op and the progress is stuck…same for get yoked

I've been palying this game with two other people. When we progressed to BrainPower 10, only the host and myself were in game, and we BOTH got the achievement. The 3rd person was able to pop the achievement not by scanning something, but by scanning something that increases the BrainPower to the next level. For us, it we were 5 points shy from BP 13, and one scan unlocked the achievement for the 3rd person.
