Although the new achievements from the title update don't specify in the achievement descriptions, they still require 3-4 players (combination of players and bots).
If you have 3 controllers, this achievement is very simple. With one extra controller, it is still easily manageable.
Although this achievement can be done in Cup mode, I would recommend doing this in Versus just so you can concentrate on it.
Choose Gold Rush as the mode and pick a desired number of rounds. Obviously, if there are any A.I bots, you will want to play on Easy. The goal is to have ALL gold coins at the end of each iteration and, ultimately, the whole round. It doesn't matter if you get hit or lose coins, as long as you have them all when the timer counts down and damage is dealt. I turned the rocket toggle on so I could hold the jump button and fly around the screen to help avoid getting hit.

In Gold Rush, each player is randomly assigned some gold at the beginning of the round. Every time the timer expires the person with the least gold gets shot by the cannons at the side of the arena, and they will lose a heart. To steal the gold from an opponent you need to shoot them with your gun. You need to win a round where you end the round with all the gold for this trophy.
