How to unlock the Gateway to the Tower achievement in Guilty Gear -Strive- - Definitive Guide

You'll need to complete the Network Mode Tutorial first before you can play your 1st match against a real player. Once that is done enter into Rank Tower on your floor and either challenge another player to a duel or wait at a challenge spot for someone to challenge you.

Fight in this match, win or lose and you'll unlock the achievement at the results screen.

Rank Tower is found under Network > Online Match. It is the floor separated mode that I described in the Roadmap. This is obnoxious simply because the Rank Tower is so bad. You need to complete the tutorial, load into one of the floors and then find someone to fight. You don't have to win so you can hop between floors until you find someone waiting for a match and fight them.
