From the main menu select Offline player vs. CPU.
You'll be able to change some settings at the player select screen.
Change Number of Rounds to 1
Time Limit to 30
CPU level to Beginner if you want to beat them or Maniac if you want them to quickly beat you. Either option is fine.
You'll just need to finish 3 matches win or lose with a different character each time.
