How to unlock the No Return, High Risk achievement in Guilty Gear -Strive- - Definitive Guide
While using Faust, perform his "What could this be" special move with + . The items thrown are randomized. One of these are an Afro wig, come into contact with it and the achievement unlocks right after.

Also works while playing against Faust and he does this move and you get the afro (not him)

Oh yeah, that too, but its more of if 2P is either on CPU, the chances of that are slim if he does it. If its 2P as a player, then the odds are higher.

This is almost a secret achievement. The Afro state comes specifically from Faust. When you do his 'What Could This Be?' Special move (Down, Down/Forward, Forward + Punch ()) one of the items he can throw is a big afro. When you touch the afro it places it on your head and you get the achievement. Faust will also put you in the Afro state with his move Snip Snip Snip.
You can get this achievement as Faust. Do a VS match with a second controller. Pick Faust. Opponent doesn't matter. As Faust, throw items until the Afro comes out. Make sure you walk over the afro to put yourself in the Afro state.
What does the Afro state do, you ask? It adds a hit box to your head. You can be hit anywhere in the Afro. This means things that would normally pass over you hit you instead; it especially affects you while you are ducking.
